I hope my last post puts into context why I voted E-B-E and why I switched for you
oops...

"bussing" is something I've seen a lot of people do in in-person games of werewolf, so that's why it came to mind
but obviously playing in forums is a lot different because the games last longer and deaths mean a lot more
I came up with that theory before I read your post about E-B-E, but I understand now

I want them to post more! (and if I have no reason to be suspicious of them by the end of the day, I can always vote for someone else instead)

i can see how "bussing" can affect the point of other players' perspective of your actual identity, i don't know how effective it is here in TWG, but let me tell you, it definitely does the trick in other social deduction games.

Lights fall under the same security, as E-B-E was quick to point out, but I suppose you're saying that your trusting the wisdom of the crowd and picking Freezin over the other low posters because I did it?

that's exactly right, just following the veteran's footsteps. also, we have a higher chance of getting someone to defend themselves and or get them out when everyone sticks together.

if i were to vote for lights, i would probably be the only one.

It doesn't work as well here because everyone has seen the trick before. A lot. For years.

Apparently it's so common over in Mafia Universe that I was reading a game were someone got sussed because they voted wolf; they just assume all wolves bus their goons almost it was a trip to read

I'm not saying it won't happen or anything but I am saying if you're the wolfteam and you're thinking of hard bussing for the towncred, you'll still need to do more to prove yourself and at that point you might as well do the other work and keep your buddy alive

This may sound silly but I think it'd be cool if one of us vets gets voted off.

WHAT SAY YOU!? DO YOU THINK YOU CAN GIVE UP YOUR SPOT FOR A CARD FLIP!?

As a cool townie myself, I'm more than happy to fit that role as martyr♡

Wtf Charu lmao

I was debating voting Freezi myself before everyone else did. Make Lar happy for once and vote off a quiet person but now there are too many votes on Freezi and it scares me

SO I would also like to keep the newbies around longer, I can't vote Lar and Freezi is being piled on, I ain't no freaking martyr

Does this mean the bird has to die...?

I get your point but hey, having two low posters be our wagons for the day sounds good to me

Plus there is a majority vote rule called insta at play: if over 50% of living players vote one person at the same time then they get killed off and the day phase ends INSTANTLY---we don't want that because it limits how much discussion can be had, and discussion is helpful to town. Freezin has 3 votes right now which is fine, but I'm probably going to unvote if someone else parks there

first day participated in a TWG game and i've already noted a mental rule: do not mess with the bird.

for real though, i don't think that would be a great idea. i get why the bird voted for me, but kicking someone out just because they're a vet and not because of lack of posts does not sound good with my mindset.
