Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
(This post will contain the completed gfx list. So if you have to ask whether one is done, look here)
Flowers (Arghh.. no need for that to be completed) Colors Of Sorrow (Again, not needed) ToKiMoNaTaKaNiMeKaT (completed, half-assed, but completed) Baby P (This song is strange, but it is completed, but nothing fancy) Monty On The Run (Honestly had to work extra hard on this one, I think it turned out really well) The Strong Jaeger (Finished, not entirely professional, but finished) (EDIT!: I sent you the ones above, the rest of the songs have a very strange feel to it that I cannot emulate myself. I guess your gfx team still has some work to do) Last edited by Midnight_Mist; 08-22-2009 at 01:26 PM.. |

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
Meh, it took me exactly one hour to do those both. And yesterday I wasted 9 hours watching a walkthrough to I Wanna Be The Guy. No biggie. But how are the graphics? I think I did good with Monty On The Run myself.

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
That is pretty cool, I love Monty On The Run bg and banner myself, worked harder than all of them on that one, took me half an hour compared to about 10-15 minutes.

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
Okay, I'll just put the actual banner in here and will link the backgrounds because the size is quite large. And Just For The Heck Of IT, because of lack of knowledge. I am showing you these. Flowers Colors Of Sorrow Yeah, here they are. Enjoy y'all. (Might as well add that if anyone doesn't like there banner and bg and want it changed, just send me the word.) Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
Your Colors of Sorrow graphics doesn't fit the song at all and I don't want to be mean or anything but my graphics are more suitable over yours (it is my file afterall so graphics are a big part, regardless of pad or keyboard). Flowers and everything else are pretty decent.
Assuming I don't do all of the graphics sets like last time, we'll use your graphics for a few files.

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
Well, all I generally need to make a song is the genre, but most songs. (Speedcore excluded) are quite easy to make. Those songs were kind of easy. And Gundam-Dude, I only based the feel of colors of sorrows and flowers of picture, cause my speaker was on the fritz. The rest I listened to. Well, yeah. I'll keep on posting and looking at some stuff, but besides making new files, which I MIGHT! I'll keep posted about this pack.

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
I might/will make the set bigger. I just need a WEE bit of help from anyone who is good at the POSISTION of the steps (e.g PR, Double Steping, Overall Non-Repetitiveness), my beats for most of my songs a perfect, just the style of the steps were made with Record using keyboard, so they aren't pad worthy, and I frankly do not know where to start in editing it.
Songs I MIGHT be submitting in the near future =================================== September 28th (Radio Edit) by Atlantis (once I solve the ackward beginning) Hard Style, My Style by Starsplash (once I finish stepping it :P) Anima Libera by DJ Raaban (once I solve the fast BPM issue.) |

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
note, never ever use the record feature on stepmania. 100% of the time your file will not come out good.
and JS, thats probably a good idea. Also look at Mystic Oriental Love Consultant again. kthx |

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
Well, not using the smallest note, I put it on record and play through a section, and look what I did wrong, check if the sncying is right. And go one, not direct recording. Record is how I get the 'beat' of the song, then I put them all into quads and then erase my desired notes, but right now I am at the quads, but I am so confused on how to step it.

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
Actually play the song on a make-believe pad. If you have to use the same foot twice in a row, that's a double step, and should be avoided.

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
If insisted, okay. But, I often get myself in awkward situations. I wish there was a button to remove double steps automatically. And what do you mean by a 'double step' used right by the way?

Re: Solar Eclipse Pad Pack
That's more of an elitist technique. I wouldnt worry about that for quite awhile
