...okay, I just did TFB v2. It took like an hour at most between audacity, and ensuring PR/climax theory.

Seeing how Humanism, Asteroid Run, and {A Change of Seasons} are all Patashu files, maybe there was some form of miscommunication going on? I'm probably just missing something obvious here, haha. I haven't been keeping up with the queue much lately. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
From what I hear, it's not miscommunication at all, but simply taking advantage of someone naive to the queue system, and I'm fairly sure that was deliberate. If it wasn't, then I am terribly mistaken when I assumed that NSane knew what to do with the files people sent him. So....moral of the story is to check the current queue list first. Quite clearly inequality here.
For Asteroid Run and {A Change of Seasons}, it's a similar situation. I mean, I actually was in the midst of judging them still. I guess I can take them off the list then... :\ What I'm unhappy about is that the situation only serves to lower standards in that people may even expect to get files in without initial judgment. NSane does play each song through himself as he told me, but that's not really enough. Last edited by bmah; 12-1-2009 at 01:25 AM.. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
If you read my edited post, I've listed some alternative possibilities that may be probable - not that they are any better. It would've been best if this didn't happen at all.
If we felt NSane didn't know the ins and outs of the system, then the fault would lie on the person who did not inform him on what songs were not direct queue releases. But on the other hand, we assumed that NSane knew what's going on, and this could just be the result of being a little green on the judging system. I could certainly recall him assuring us that he knew how to handle it though. In either cases, there's lack of responsibility for sure. :< Last edited by bmah; 12-1-2009 at 01:36 AM.. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Damn, I completely forgot =/ I just shut off my computer too, after doing 6 straight hours of work on the client-side of FFR. I'll get you an SS tomorrow hopefully. Also, to clear things up, I had stated to only send me files that were queue'd, so basically I had assumed anything that was received was in the queue. Well, just tell me what I need to do if I'm doing something wrong, I am a very busy person, but I also usually manage to find the time to do my usual FFR work.

Didn't you say something like you were on your computer 24/7?

Also, as it appears that you're busy working on other aspects of FFR, do you have anyone else that can potentially be the decision-maker for incoming simfiles? Just giving some ideas on options to take a load off your back. P.S. dore may be coming back as a judge once college semester is completed. Judging probably will resume in mid December or so. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I am usually on my computer 24/7, however I am usually doing coding / programming jobs not just for FFR but for my college and sometimes for possible profit.
Also, @bmah: Once again, I'll get the ss to you tomorrow most likely. I have quite a load of work to do tomorrow, so I'll try and get an ss as soon as I get home.

All of "queue'd files" are written on the top of this thread anyways (update delays sometimes though..) so we need to verify them. @Nsane Did you get the some queue'd files that I linked to you, or someone else already sent them to you? Last edited by jimerax; 12-1-2009 at 04:38 AM.. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I didn't resend my files although they were in the current batch, just so I could look back into them.
Haven't made any significant difference, besides bpm syncage, awaiting the opening of the queue. Quote:

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I got the Revolutionary Etude .mp3 from that unfinished file pack hi19hi19 uploaded.
I'm only about 25 measures into my file, 'cause the syncing is a little difficult at times. I wonder how many other people are working on a file for that... Uhm. So... yeah. Could collaborate or I could send the .mp3 and you can do your own stuff... |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Well I suck at stepping, so unless you want to collaborate with a beginning stepper you can just send me the .mp3
P.S: I can do bpm syncage decently

I think I stepped like 4 measures of Revo and then stopped.

Please no.
If you guys make revo v2 can it be at most high FMO? Please? I'd like to be able to actually play it.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
That's the worse idea I've ever heard. If you wanna play Revo - the bg, go download Arch0wl Originals pack, it's in there. Just gotta turn off your bg.
