Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Aww, I don't have access to a camera. I probably won't get insane scores anyway, so there shouldn't be a problem. Actually, given the nature of the challenges, I think I'll try the tongue one first.
About the feet challenge: since I don't have a pad, can I use my toes on the keyboard? Something like a new form of index. EDIT: Tried with my toes, sucked horribly. Here it is if my technique's allowed. I'm better with a spoon: And with my tongue. My keyboard doesn't taste very nice. Last edited by Fractal_Monkey; 07-14-2008 at 09:49 AM.. |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
I am leaving this site, and so there will be no more Omnipwn. It'd take forever for me to keep this going anyway. Working multiple multilple hours a week is rough as it is. That, coupled with my recent ridiculous credit loss, further coupled with the fact that I haven't exactly been treated fairly on this site over the past year (dealing with the forum crap, and receiving raw deals such as not being allowed to compete in the tournament), has made me stop caring.
The clear winners so far can divide up my credits, which are now worth a lot more now that the FFR economy's been shot. Anyone without a subbie can get one from Coolgamer, who has already agreed to this since I won one of his Mystery Contests. Hope you guys at least had fun while the tournament was up and running! I am sorry it did not go more smoothly. I might come back and add rounds for the fun of it, but in terms of the contest itself, that part is officially done with.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Well that sucks, but how do we divide your credits? And when some people won first in one mode.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
It honestly does not matter to me -- whatever you guys think is a reasonable split

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Arrgh, I didn't even know Round 6 was up. Guess I'm not going to win anything either, 6th overall and ~10th in each mode... =(

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Well I mean, you guys can still compete. But I at least want to divide up the credits now and let you know where you can get the sub from since I don't know when/if I am returning.

Well I hope Tass still competes... >:O On a side-note, AP test scores are in, and I made a 3 on Calculus AB. I was hoping for higher, but whatever. I'm happy.

We'll miss you Rubix.
But it is impossible to completely quit FFR. They put some addiction drugs in it. You will HAVE to come back some other time. |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
I'm probably just really upset right now and experiencing Gambler's Remorse... I'll probably just try to gamble my way intelligently back up to a decent credit level or something, and leave if I continue to have poor luck.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
That really sucks Rubix. =\ Well, I did the FFR challenges really quickly a little earlier. Might as well post them (yes, even #4).
PS - I know a little bit about losing a ton of credits at gambling. (but of course not as much as you at this point)

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
By the way, when I said use your feet, I had "toes-on-keyboard" in mind, but anything goes as long as the input is from your feet.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Great tournament anyway, Rubix. I had fun while it lasted.
Some PR2 times, just to show I'm not completely useless at flash games: I'm convinced I can go faster on Zerostar. There's a bottleneck at :17 that I keep just missing - if I get past that, I could shave off another 5-6 seconds. |

Here's my results for Round 1: Edit: Can't seem to get the picture to show up. I'm bad with getting images to show on forums. lol. Anyways, here's the link, at least: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...mentRound1.gif Last edited by JohnRedWolf87; 08-3-2008 at 12:28 AM.. |
