I'm about to give in, stop suiciding, and go to L31. PQing is fun, but I want more progress.

EDIT: I was in a good mood this morning. I drive in from the store and go on MS and sign in to Kerning. As soon as I do some guy says, "Hey, want some items? I'm quitting my account." I say, "Sure," and wait for him to put them up, but then he says, "Follow me."

Obviously this was a scam, but I went anyway for kicks since I was in a good mood. He goes into a store where there's a guy waiting. He says, "This is the other guy." He then claims that before he quits he wants to have some fun, so he's having two games. The first was impression. I had to drop my best items. Obvious scam.

He follows me for a bit before I drop, but then I teleport away and he stops. I drop out of reach on top and pick up, then he says, "You have to say 'Done'" first, follow the rules!" So I do it again, and what should happen? The items get sucked right to him.

I lost Dark Chaos, Dark Napoleon, and 5 wisdom crystal ores. Nearly 1 mill of stuff. Safe to say, I'm an extreme moron and won't be dropping, ever again.

Now I only have 50k and the only item of value is my Dark Guil. -.- Needless to say, my good mood is gone and I won't be too enthusiastic about MS for a long while.

I got scammed like that tokzic but only of a green matty, some mage shoes, and a bow. Just keep playing and have fun. After I got scammed, I worked harder to get back some of the money that I lost. Think of this as a way of encouragement...

So I sold my Korean Fan for 450k, and my panlid for 275k, and I now have 1.3 mil =D


Why did I sell my panlid, you ask?

Because I have the coolest fence ever. A 10 def, 3 mdef, +10 hp, 6 remaining slots fence.

I used a 10% on it when I was a noob, and now it's better than a panlid. I'm gonna beef it up more with some 60%s if i can buy/find them.

And I also kinda like the novelty of it. I'll be the only level 4x+ mage running around with a fence, and that fence will be better than 80% of the panlids you see.

It's funny seeing 6x and 7xers at Zombies also claiming that they are the highest-level mage without a Pan Lid.

I had a fence up until level 43 or 44. I only got a panlid because Afro found one and gave it to me. One of these days I plan to whore lunar pixies and get 10% shield scrolls and use them on the panlid. I don't care if I use up the slots and make it worthless, I don't sell things to people anyway so it's no big deal to me. XD

Also speaking of EQ, I've been killing nependeths lately for the earring scroll. I basically just idle in the game and heal, but every few minutes run around with magic guard and kill them. It helps because GTA gets boring on its own but nependeths would kill my pot supply without MG and resting.

Hay Squeek. Quick question: How much percent of level do you get everyday and what is your rate of exp (ie how much do you get per hit, how much do you get total and how many hits it take to kill)?

I'm just curious, because I've been getting about 25% these last few days. I get 42 exp for a onehit kill on a boar and they give me .01 of a percent. I have to kill 10,000 for one level at this rate.

Also, where is the point at which clerics begin to level fast? Is it 50 when you can get to the zombie miners?

If I'm really trying and I play about 5 hours a day, I can get 33% daily. It takes me anywhere from 6 to 8 minutes to gain one percent. If I'm hitting a group of 5 Zombies, I kill them all in 5 hits or less and net 950 EXP. That takes about 2 seconds, but travel time is about 3 seconds.

I don't know what level you are, but if you're in your forties, go into the Zombie Lupin tree. To get there, go from Ellinia two rooms south into the Forest of Wisdom. Take the middle teleport to the top, then the top-left portal to Monkey Forest. The tree in the middle is known as the Zombie Lupin Tree (ZLT). You might miss, but it's awesome EXP. I was there until I got sick of it and moved on to B3.

As of now, you have three options: B2, B3, or ZLT. Play around in each one and see what works best for you. Also, don't go to Zombies (Coolies are what people level on, not Miners) until you're wearing an Anakamoon (level 58).

The fastest EXP is when you level using Heal.

First of all, I'm level 42.

Second, heal doesn't give good enough exp. I can get around 30 exp per hit in the tree with Zombie Lupins, but 42 from boars seems to be better. And I can grind on boars for however long I want because the MP regens fast enough that combined with MP pots from drop, I never need to use my reserves of Mana Elixers or go afk to regen MP. Basically, the best thing for me to do it seems would be zombie mushrooms, but there are no dedicated maps for those. The exp from boars is about the same though, and I can easily fight just boars (as opposed to a few zombie mushrooms and a lot of hornies). The only downside to boars is that heal doesn't damage them, but that doesn't matter anyway, because I one hit the boars anyway.

Third, I already owned a bunch of zombie lupins. I completed the quest a few days back. Like I said though, I can't get as good exp from zombie lupins. Maybe in a few levels, but not right now.

Chris, I hate to tell you, but you're gonna have to start working on your JQ skills if you want to make it through your 40s and 50s with any semblance of speed. B3 all the way for Clerics.


Anyway.. found another blue umbrella. Got up to 54%. It's kinda disappointing that that many people still use fences, but oh well. I'm planning to eventually use 5 60%s and one last 10% on it. I'm also aquiring 60% wand scrolls for when I get my cromi. I've got 2 so far, and I think someone offered to sell me one for 200k, but they're offline right now. I'll definitely pick that up when I can.

I am really pissed off at the leveling speed of archers. I played for around 3 hours and only gained around 40%. This is horrible compared to the leveling speed of my mage who in the same aount of time, could have leveled twice. 90% with my level 29 archer... Does leveling go faster after the first job with archers? Just wondering because if it is this speed for the rest of the game with archers, it might not be worth it.

Once you get arrow bomb you will be able to hit 6 things at a time from a distance. Eric is leveling way fast because he has lightning and can multi-attack a bunch of things, but he has to get in between them to do it. You can just stand way away and bomb the hell out of them. Thanks to that, you'll be able to level MUCH faster. Also, once you get soul arrow you won't need to buy/make any more arrows, so you'll have more money. You may hate it now, but being an archer is very much worth it.

Inconsistant damage with archers makes it hard to level. I had the same problem with my AB Xbowman. After Mastery/Arrow Bomb it will get a bit easier.

See, going and putting everything into accuracy and luck is for losers. On my archer, I put alot more STR than he should have had. The payoff? I could just use a sword and do more damage until I got some awesome attacks. It made life easy.

Well, I made the job advancement and got one point into Arrow Bomb. Should I max Arrow Bomb or Mastery first? Also, would you guys recommend Final Attack or not?

I'd say max mastery first, definitely, and it's been said like 3 times before to NOT get final attack at all ever. I think the one point in arrow bomb is enough to make it really effective, just because you can hit 6 things at once. Once mastery is at 19 (do not max it, that's just stupid) you can go hard into arrow bomb, but I would get soul arrow/booster and the like first or at the same time, but that's just me. You'll probably want the higher damage for bomb and will max that before anything else.

Let's just see what Squeek says about it, though. XD

And kelsey, none of us play on Broa. That fact that you even picked Broa pretty much screams "lolnewb" to me. Do you play on Channel 1 there, too? XD

EDIT: Also, after looking at the skills some more, don't get soul arrow above 10. After 10, the MP cost doubles, and when maxed that means it has the same MP efficiency as at level 10 (15 MP for 300 seconds or 30 MP for 600 seconds, so at level 10 it's just 30 MP for two casts, which adds up to 600 seconds). So, if I were you, I would do this, for now:

1 on arrow bomb
19 on mastery (this takes 19/3 = 7 levels to do, yikes)
5 on booster (to unlock soul arrow)
10 on soul arrow

max arrow bomb
max booster
work on power knockback
I dunno what else.
