I don't think he was level 120 2 years ago... that would have been before 3rd job even came out.

I knew he had quit it, I just thought it was funny that there were 2 people that I recognized there.

Guides aren't very informative for this, but where is the best place to train at levels 40-50(level 44 currently) with all these new places out?

Well, how long ago did I quit? I don't remember the exact date, but I do remember signing on months after I quit to get the free Amoria haircut. On the day I quit, Kafro's archer was already above level 80, which means he had quit his Bandit months before then.

That's why I say two years ago. If you can dig up a patch release date list, I can tell you which patch I didn't get to experience and that'll be the day I quit.

I do remember I signed back on for the first anniversary event, which had the 2x day. That was when I got to level 90 and never played again.

So this game has been making it impossible on me to get to 90. I got to 95% 4 times now haha -_-

Hopefully I can finally get there -_- Geeze. I plan on quitting for a while until I get more money (through my up and coming fire mage!) so yup!

It's possible. My second year anniversary since quitting Maple is quickly approaching and when I quit, there were a couple hitting 120. Tiger and Stephen were all past 120 from what I remember.

When I logged back when 3rd jobs were out and xSakura was already 136, meaning she hit 120 16 levels ago and 16 levels isn't exactly a day's worth of work.

I'd say that this is fairly definitive here. The 2 year anniversary of 3rd job coming out is this Christmas season, so if he was only 11x less than 2 years ago, he certainly hasn't been quit'd for over 2 years.

So I was at DigitalLife yesterday and saw that Wizards was going to release a trading card game for Maple Story in November; some interactive properties between the cards and the online game itself.

BTW, the cards look that usual variety with a picture taken from the game and some description. The wrap packaging looked kinda nice, though. It appeared to be thicker than the usual foil wrapping used for most TCGs.

I died for a really dumb reason too -_- I forgot that when you're in aqua your hp slowly goes down without air bubbles. I was trainng at squids for a while and didn't notice that my hp was 1550.... then I jumped up and hit a squid that did 1555 damage -_- So now, I'm going to go to pirates with a priest. Impossible for me to die ^_^! (200 touch damage haha).

Hell no I'm not buying nx. All the nx I've gotten was from friends. Not paying any money for this game =P

Yeah, I only remember it because I remember he'd always post SS in the ranking thread. Leveling at 11x, on a CB, at zombies..... lol >________> Then 3rd job came out, he trained at lucidas with band of thieves while looking for a kandine.

You may be right. Who knows. Now that I think of it, she was 136 when Ludi came out and if memory serves right, Ludi was after 3rd jobs.

It's probably just Nexon points that come with the cards, or maybe "free" specific cash shop items. There is no way that they'd alienate the vast majority of players by giving extra content to people who collect cards.

Were you? I don't recall ever hearing of you at Grims. In fact, the only distinct memory I have of you connected to Ludi was when you came back for a second and got your 90th level or whatever SOLOING DTS.

Yep. I went from 88-89.9 in a 2x Viking party, then soloed the last 5% at DTS.

The last screenshot I have pre-Ludi has me hitting 87 at Bains. That means I was partying with her for most of 87. I know I was at Grims. I just wasn't there for very long because, as I said before, I screwed up my build by getting SR before ER.

I know I was in 87 for a really, really long time because my screenshots have me in Cash Shop clothes only at level 87. By the end of 87, they had already expired. That's three months where I didn't even level once. That means I was doing quests off and on. Oh, and farming Esthers, which I never got. Freakin' platoons.

What I do remember is asking him/her when I met him/her on Trickster what level his/her DK was on Maple, and I was surprised to see it was over 120 (By the way, his/her Trickster dragon is like 270 now. Ridiculous).

I played maplestory a long time ago, and it sucked. I got to like level 15 and found it boring and everyone I seemed to run into were complete assholes. But is it worth playing now?
