Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2 - Page 73

Resubmission system won't be used on the special batch.
Acceptance criteria on the last batch was lenient instead, so you can still submit any songs by new artists, but they won't be treated as "resubmissions".

For the new artist special batch, SAP will be added, and submission cap for the regular batch will be applied too.

Hey, please excuse my ignorance but how would I go about "stepping" a song?

There are a ton of other Tsukasa songs sitting in my WIPs folder that I could probably churn out for FFR later. I'm still mind boggled at how nobody has bothered to step anything from him with the granted permission (hell, KeyBeat didn't even get permission from him. That or he just simply ignored the email, rofl).

I don't know if this is the appropriate thread to ask this question but how are songs selected to go in the game each week? Is it all random?

QUESTION TO ORGANIZERS: What do you consider like "new" artists? Is being in queue yet not still being in-game make you new or not? For example, Nick Perrin's Comfortably Lost is in queue, but I was planning on submitting another song from him on this batch since he was not yet in game. Besides, his name is still pink in the permission thread, so I thought I would've been able to submit for him again.

Also, when are these files going to be tagged with:

[Easy] - Difficulty 1-5
[FGO] - Difficulty 12
[FSO] - Difficulty 13

I'm sure there are a few FGO files in that list, and if not, Metro should be tagged as FSO

I had some thoughts on stepping some of Tsukasa's songs, but the stuff on his muzie site was rather limited compared to the other stuff he had. The only song I would've stepped on his muzie site would be Crystal Blue (core mix).

Being that it would end up in game eventually, I think the idea is to use completely untouched artists. I'd just stray away from artists who have been stepped or are in the queue.

Is it possible to list the artists in the OP of the songs in the queue, that way people know who not to touch for the next batch?

Aight, took about 15 minutes to find songs in the queue which were not released, but are new artists. In other words, the artists below are new but are slated to be in the game, so step from a different song artist for the upcoming batch:
