Dorby your really good and all for being a Spread player but still you can't say anything to those that destroy your accomplishments such as RB_Quackies, korny, bluearrowll, and irionman. Yet they were all legit one handers. So seriously don't say anything.
I may have not been able to beat your scores but put it this way. Each good one hander that tried and then switched to Spread eventually have become some of the best players..

Well duh, playing spread, you have fewer limits. Also, anyone can play spread and be good, not just used-to-be-onehanders

What point were you trying to make? If it was if you switch to spread you get better scores, well, I already knew that.

So, just for the hell of it I tried a bit of one-handed play today.

Eventually I got up to Forgotten Planet, and found out that I seem to be hitting the left arrow instead of the down arrow in jumpclustery areas. Hmm.

Got down to 28 misses though

I play with my Index, middle and ring fingers and my middle finger gets 2 keys...

That is how I play. Up down trills are the worst because my middle finger does them by itself.

Wow, it's been forever since I've been on the forums. Haha, I kept making promises on this thread to actually do something but I never went through.. Well, I'll try again. BTW Bynary, I'm holding off my 150th AAA for [Heavy] =) 3-0-0-0 on TGWP Part 4 is the closest I've gotten so far.
Also, I play with pointer for left and down, middle finger for up and down, and ring finger for right. Does anyone have any suggestions for stream parts that are heavy on left, up, and down? I've managed to get up/down trills by training my pointer to use the down arrow as well, leaving my middle finger free for up.. But up, left, and down heavy streams are still difficult as a 2 finger to 3 key ratio.

With my 84 skill tokens (80+ req), 149 AAA's (120+ req), and currently 615 rank (700 or lower req), that gives me 43 tier points so far, I think.

Try sliding more
slide your middle finger from up to down and just make it a motion
alot less of a hassel as for middle trills
slide only your middle finger works really well
For middle doubles just use your middle finger on both keys.
Also.. I know i've switch to Spread and all but this score was actually one hand.

Haha yes, I am kind of underground.. I don't post on the forums often.

Also 8 Hour, Nice ETAD AAA.. You know, I think having some practice with a faster playing style (spread) does help with reading patterns. At least it helped me when I was forced to play spread for a while after my keyboard broke =/ haha.
Also, you really only use your middle finger for up and down? Sounds difficult, but I'm sure with practice it could work.. Haha my only other option would be to try to train my ring finger to hit down when my other two fingers are preoccupied - and so far old dog = no new tricks.

do you guys slide with just middle, because with some jumps i tend to slide my index on the left+down and my ring on right+down...

Slide is a technique used with all fingers..
You mostly only slide your middle finger for up and down but when it comes to things like rolls from right to left
You have a swift slide with your fingers flowing with your ring to your middle and to your index. IT's a simple technique more common for laptop or a Flat KB.
Usually it's best to find something like.. lotion or baby oil that makes your hand not sticky so you can perform this task over and over again.
