im about to ruin my life by attempting to overdose
I kind of ignored this post until now, because resolving an overdose incident was way more important than having words of comfort.
When you come back, and I will not say if because I do believe you will pull through this, I wanna leave a message for ya.
The thread you linked that happened 2 years ago was due to how you responded to other players that were either close or nowhere near your skill range. Suffice to say, there hasn't been too much negative feedback, if at all, for you in these 2 years. Granted, you've been not as talkative on this forum as of late, but you started to respect other user's after that thread 2 years ago which is A+ in my book, as I'm sure it is for the majority of other players on this site.
When you come back, just take a breather, y'know? No one actually wants you gone or disappeared (Or basically just plain dead). You're part of a close knit community, bro. Just know if you really need help, someone will come for you. Just like we did last night. We don't want to see someone go down because of self misery and conflict.
That's my words of wisdom. Take it easy, and don't let your feeling of isolation get a hold of you. We're here whenever you need.

I Checked the thread about 4 times and i found his post with an edit saying something among the lines of : "So i am seeing the overwhelming amount of support, so let me call an ambulence. K?" Then adding another message to his edit saying "911 called."
Edit :

whoever posted about a psych eval is correct
when I attempted suicide in '14 they held me at the hospital for few days. i was allowed to call family ofc but anything electronic was "contraband" and there was no way to get online
so we hve to wait for him to post or... some confirmation that he has died

Agreed. Same reason why I know god is real.

If I was the officer, if I saw the guy, I would try to assess the situation properly. What is the race of the guy?
We likely won't know anything for a while unless he posts, or someone who knows him does. If he was hospitalized, he will be held (psychiatric eval and possibly psych ward) until they deem him fit to leave. As for electronics, it really depends. Some hospitals are more lenient about it than others. (From personal experience, I was permitted my phone and gaming devices, but they had no wifi anywhere.)
I'm really hoping he's in inpatient care right now. This community is wonderful for coming together. Rapta, hoping the best for you.
I doubt he will get online soon. Can't be sure of course, as I only know how this kinda thing works in Canada, but I had to stay in the hospital 24 hours and they took my phone. When they asked me if I was still suicidal, if I had said yes, they would keep me at least another 3 days. I had school 2 days from then, so I had to say no. Plus, even if I had said yes, I seriously doubt their competency to, you know, help me.
I really hope his situation is different; I hope that the hospital has resources for suicidal patients. Because there is proof of his suicidal intent, he will likely have to stay there longer than me. Reason I bring this up, is so that people are less scared if they don't hear from him soon. 3 days is very reasonable, even a week. I know it would be nice to hear from him or his family, but that simply might not be possible right now.
I also want to say that the response here was truly amazing. The amount of support from people he didn't even know, really says a lot about the community. I'm proud of everyone here. But now all we can do is call the hospitals (danceflashrevo posted the numbers) and wait until someone gets new information. In the meantime, I hope you guys don't neglect yourselves. You all experienced something that can be traumatic. I hope you all have someone to talk to, and if not, please feel free to msg me.
In the same vein, if anyone here identifies with Rapta's plight, please please please talk to someone. As we've seen, anyone here on FFR would be more than willing to help you. But we won't know you need it until you ask. Seeking help is the hardest part. Don't feel like you're weak or wasting anyone's time; that is not true. Mental illness is never your fault, and I know you might still feel like a burden, but please don't let that prevent you from getting help.
