this gfx is better than the other imo, it's cleaner! space dj sharpnel from magic cycles a bit more and make the bg 800x600 if you can!!

if you duplicate the text layer and set the second one to blend mode: normal and opacity 30-50% you'll have a middle gound between the two which should be the better option.
