not my cup of tea but it's well-made and I see people liking this. YES

62. (Antronach) Deja Vu (Freemasons Remix)
great song and file. I remember this from some other pack (and a bunch of your other submissions lol). YES

63. (Antronach) End of the World
Heavy was fun, just get rid of random hard mine and it's great. I'll do it later myself. YES

64. (Antronach) mosaic
fun but a LOT of the 16ths aren't actually in the song. check this again on a slower rate and tweak yo rhythms. CONDITIONAL

65. (Antronach) Tori No Uta (The Speedfreak's Noise Rave Mix)
another file you might want to check on a slower rate because there are some rhythmic errors. all of the freezes should be one 16th note shorter, makes the file way cleaner/easier to read. you also might want to consider adding an easier chart with some of the tougher 48ths/64ths toned down, as they're quite hard in comparison to the rest of the file. that said, not as bad as I was expecting, could be pretty fun with the above fixes. CONDITIONAL

66. (Antronach) Vanessa
UGH THIS SONG.

okay...so in theory, this could be a very neat dodgeball file, but the BIG problem you need to fix is deciding on how you're going to interpret the song's rhythms. you have that continuous 12th piano run, the STOMPS on the 4ths, interspersed with some quieter parts where the rhythms get a bit trickier. there's almost no consistency to the file as is, at least how I'm seeing it. maybe switching back and forth between emphasizing the 4th stops and emphasizing the 12th runs would help give this a bit of structure? I like the idea of the file, the execution's lacking. NO for now

which of these are released? I remember End Of The World being released before, but if the version you submitted to me is a significant revision, I'll count it as an unreleased file.

All but Vanessa and At Dawn. End Of The World has a new "fun" chart to it, and that mine is there to signal the slowdown, if I recall. Yeah Vanessa's a bad idea in retrospect, I just sent it in since I knew you'd review it since all the advice I got for it was "lol no". I really just suck at dodgeball charts in general, but you're advice really helps.

Was White Acropolis ~Snowy Peak~ in any pack by any chance?

I think White Acropolis (or some Sonic file lol) was in one of the solo packs along with the singles chart

by the way, guys, I just threw in all of the files from the minipack Ferrari and I did, along with Windowlicker because it's a good easy file

we now have 86 files

important updates:
we'll be stopping all submissions at either 100 files or January 18, whichever comes first.
all submissions from now MUST be unreleased. this is to make sure we've got a nice balance going on between singles and unreleased stuff.
release is still tentatively set for February 14.
we need graphics now more than ever, so any help you guys can offer would be greatly greatly appreciated.

Hey moches once you have 100+ files do you think you'll expel the least good file of each simartist (as, for a simartist that has 4 or 5 files in it like me) to increase quality and all ? Judging exclusively on fun factor for instance.
Or do you plan it to be SUPERMASSIVE ?

if it gets over 100 good files, I'll likely trim a few files from stepartists with 5+ files in this lol. also serious props for the graphic work so far, you guys have been killing it imho

honestly I am surprised at how many good files we have. almost the second coming of Xoon 4 lol.

Oh oops haha must have missed it. Machine was stepped to be my signature file of sorts. I feel that both the song and the way the file turned out really represent myself and the way I step. Glad you thought it was neat though 8D

I may be a bit less active next week since I really have to begin studying for APs soon, but here's another set of files from Mr. Anaru

on another note, I'll probably a bit stricter next week as well since we're almost at our file cap. expect tons of CONDITIONAL judgments lmao. I'm also going to be cutting a few files near the very very end since we'll probably pass 100 files anyhow, but I'll mainly be targeting those who have like 24939 files in this anyway (people like ME!) so those of you with just one or two files in here need not worry

67. (mi40) Amber Shores
this is the first file for this song that I've played all the way through/isn't terrible. really fun file, feels like a very technical IcyWorld file and that's a very good thing. I'd maybe like an easier chart with some of the bursts toned down, though, because it'd be a shame to have this file be directed mainly for scoreboard players when everybody secretly wants a good file for this song. YES

68. (mi40) NON-STOP
haha easy file from you. the world must be ending. YES

69. (mi40) The Others
much better than I expected. this is the most DJ Sharpnel we've had in a pack since like 2006 though lmfao. please add an extra chart with the 32nd rolls toned down and those 32nd burst patterns maybe toned down to 24ths because they're turrible. CONDITIONAL

also: all of these are unreleased, correct?

I agree and disagree

it's one thing when there's tons of good file for Sin and another thing when every file for Amber Shores is intentionally an unplayable dump and the submission's actually good

maybe I'll pull one of the Sins, not quite sure which though. definitely pulling a couple of my own files and a few of Torrent's/Ferrari's/Valor's/Anaru's/yours because my GOD all of these peeps make a crapload of files
