I've never been more than one-two maps into Florina beach, and that was when I was like, <level 20 and could barely (if at all) hit lupins. Sad sad times.

And I would say screw fire boars, go fight Jr. Grupins. Sell the solid horns to people for lotsa money, or exchange them to level a wee bit faster, or give them to an alternate character. They also drop 60% wand scrolls here and there, making them very much worth it.

EDIT: So I saw somewhere that one guy drops all his mesos into storage to see much money he is making where he levels, so I figured I'd see how much money I made going from El Nath to Orbis. I put all but 3 million in the bank while in El Nath and went straight up Orbis Tower (not using a scroll, that is) and killed stuff as I went. I didn't stop on one particular area at any point for more than just a minute, so it's not like I was trying to inflate this number, but when I got to Orbis, I looked, and I got 27,536 just from meso drops, which then increased to 34,577 after I NPCed crap I didn't need.

So yeah, all you people who wonder how I have so much money without marketing or trying at all, it's because I don't use scrolls or taxis, and I fight everything along the way and pick it up. Also, along the way I picked up 5 more scrolls, putting me almost to 50 scrolls. If I sold those...hehehe.

WTF dude. Where do you have the patience to do that? Well, I havn't played tales in a while, but I stopped after like level 110 or so. Do you have 10X exp because then it would be more reasonable...
Anyways, I had a question. You know how when you level, you get more MP if your INT is higher and more HP when your STR is higher. Well, if you used a potion (Wizard Potion, Strength Potion, etc) before you leveled, would you also get that bonus of more HP or MP? I didn't have time to test it out, but if any of you guys have time, could you see if my theory is right?

STR doesn't increase max HP. If it did, STR bandits would have considerably more HP than Luk Bandits.

Those potions don't add to the skill; they add to the skill they modify (Magic Attack, Weapon Attack). Therefore, you wouldn't get anymore MP.

More Int does equal more MP, so put on all your Int clothes right before you level.

Is it just me, or has the entire game been mucho laggy-o after that huge thing about a week ago? I don't think my connection has changed at all, plus Afro has said that he hits heal and it "doesn't work," which I'm guessing is due to lag. Has anybody else noticed a significant increase in lag lately? It's annoying, and I hope they fix it when they add a bunch of stuff in the coming week(s) as promised....

PS: I love playing my lil warrior character. I never got slash blast before, but now I'm loving the mob attack ability.

PPS: Level 44 rofl, next level I can use my arc staff and then I'll go fight mushmom a bunch.

Uhh, don't you have to be a cleric to heal? And ya I've noticed a large change in the lag recently, I only started playing maybe 5 or 6 days ago and I've noticed it...I'll shoot something and it should die but it doesn't so I shoot it again just to make sure and THEN the first damage comes up...

A fire mage can heal, he just needs to pay for it everytime he wants to at the potion store.

Yeah, I haven't been laggy either.

Still level 41... I got like 30% in 45 minutes yesterday, so I was happy about that.

Hmmmmm, just talked to a fire mage who was using magic armor. I laughed about it, but then she said that she had also maxed MG and totally bypassed claw, since it'd be useless to her as a fire mage. I bet it was hell to get to level 30, but she managed to and said it saved her tons of money on HP pots. I bet it cost her earlier on in MP pots (having to bolt something a bunch to kill it would suck) but *shrug* I dunno. Have any of you heard of a build like that, or is this a revolutionary new way of thinking? I suppose it'd be great to do if you were horning another character up and didn't have to fight. You could do the hell route and not get any attacks ever until you had one point left that needed to be used. As for actually fighting without claw....I don't think I could take it.

Yeah, I think that'd definitely be a good way to go if you were power levelling.

And they've already extended it....twice. rofl, they've finally realized that they always fall behind, so they go ahead and gave themselves lots of extra time. Btw, the 3rd update says they will finish at 8:55am EDT. Guess what time my first class tomorrow ends? 8)

However, changing from "in the coming week(s)" 8 days ago to "in the near future" sounds good. I just hope they fix the lag. D=<

I've noticed the lag too. I think that maybe more people are playing now that they are getting ready to add some new stuff. Almost to level 30........ I hate mobs...

UPDATE! I went back to El Nath after getting 800 solid horns to give my warrior. So, after coming from El Nath, getting the horns, and going back, I made exactly 176,081 mesos.

Why the hell are you all so poor?!

PS: It's been lagging for me in the morning, on servers that only have 1 bar on them. THAT is why I blamed the update, cuz that's just wrong.
