obviously I did quite subjectively (aka rated mainly by first impression) and didn't go with detailed technical factors this time, and with not too many comments. yea patasher's notes were quite detailed, at least.

next batch will be judged by other two + tass since I'm leaving, so judgement will be a bit different.

I'll judge the next batch but batches after that are contingent on how hard I find first year uni

edit: and dizzy is still going to be dumpy

BDN: no, it'll have to go through judges again. but it won't count against your submission cap.

lol, all Tass asked me to do last time was cut it and fix what jx said was wrong with it (which I did), now it's not good enough.

I mean seriously, you're tired of 32nd walls so that means it's not good enough, give me a break, be a little objective. Since when is this all about person taste?

This is why Tass is the one that rejects songs for the songs because as a _simfile_ judge, you critique the simfile in coordination with how good reflection of the song it is. If it is, then it's good enough for Tass to test and then he can decide whether or not it's good enough for FFR.

I mean, I've had people tell me that they play the song over and over again, not sure why this file/song is so polarizing.

In terms of song quality though, compared to other songs you +.'d or +'d the song is worse than all of those? I find that hard to believe.

I really want to know what happened to Skeletor. Honestly, Blu pretty much said it best.

Hey sorry for the late reply I'm really sick, I've been in bed for two days and I'm very exhausted.

Name of the song: All Around the World

E-mail: s0u1_br0tha@yahoo

It took me a while to find the author for this song because I haven't stepped it in so long and muzie sites doesn't function on my internet browser so I had to google the actual domain site and title to get a close match then copy the url and ctrl+f it on the song permissions list. It was a pain but worth the trouble.

So if I sent two files now, what batch would they be in? The next one or the one after that?

Alright Tass I'll get DM Ashura's version and fix up what the judges wanted fixed for the next batch. There's also gonna be Milky Blue and Wrapped Around the Pole sent in.

Robertsona your sig changes more frequently than a baby needs their diapers changed.

Since the batch closes Thursday I'm going to try to squeeze in another simfile. Revo Etude v2 is not going to be in this batch because I'm going to be working on sync still and that's not going to finish in a week. lol.

Alright. I have stepped stuff other people haven't, I'm just not done with them yet.

I get too lazy

D =

the disparity between the judges is kinda lol on my files. Love how kommi told me to put more jumps into DeVouR, while all the judges have been telling me to do for the past 20 batches is lose the jumps.

Ok. A few questions/comments:

DeVouR:
I give up. I'm not going to bother wasting any more time with this until I give it a good looking-over.

Slow Down:
Tass, is this ever going to get in? I'm cutting the opening jack to 1 measure.
And I don't know what to do. Two +.'s and a -? I fixed up some parts of it...

Temple:
Patashu, that thing on m26 isn't an echo, it's a chord change. Will fix up and re-send.

Twilight Desert:
Ok, cut it significantly. Any ideas what to do when the snare hits come in, i'm not sure how to not overstep it for the difficulty.

Versatile:
Quote:
m17 on: step the occasional 16th note that crops up here, imo, also at the end of the first two 'runs' (and also when those ones repeat) the melody plays three notes in a row of the same pitch
? I'm not sure what you mean with those 16ths.... the ones I hear are barely audible at 1x, and don't make much sense when stepped to.

I'll hopefully fix these up and re-send in before thurs... it's a bad week for this to happen. Blah.

p.s. kommi arrange your notes differently, it's really hard to find anything : (

p.p.s I'm fairly sure we don't have blanket for Goukisan, whoever stepped something by him. I just got GvP specially.

p.p.p.s expect lots o' files from me for next batch... it's been a while.

Patashu, about my Groovin' Plains stepfile, what did you mean by: "I'd do it melody + bass/snare" and "the ending is hard"? Please elaborate more to me if you can. I fixed the offset and stepped more of the bass but idk how to fix the section that starts in m10 and in the ending because I prefer having snares as doubles to have an accented feeling to it. jx was fine with it since he +'d it but I guess since it's only you kommi and tass this time I should fix it.

Hey Silvuh, can I see your Wave Rip -final- file, because I'm stepping it as well but mine's going to be VC/FMO (in the same way Blue Violet is FMO), and yours was only VD, so I'd like to see what kind of steps you used to make it an easy file
