I managed to get to Sleepywood as a level 15 archer, now I can't get out and keep dying and losing experience, great.

Not worse than when I got stuck in El Nath, and Bandit and a few others had to rescue me.

rofl, I totally remember hearing about that. Kamoa just got to Lith harbor and took the VIP cab by mistake when he wanted to go to Perion, Tosh had to go get him in ant tunnel.

Stand around crying asking for help (NICELY!!) and somebody like me will come along and party you and lead you back to Henesys. It's really not hard to find people who will help. You could also try getting some potions and leaving on Channel 1, where there will be enough people killing that your path will be clear.

I got a warrior. She's level 27 now. I'm going to be a spearman, but then I dunno if hybrid or pure is better. If pure, I'm going to be a pure pole armer. =/ Someone teach me how to add my 2nd job adv skills for a spearman, lol.
1) wtf pure/hybrid what are you talking about!?
2) Don't use polearms. If you hadn't noticed already, polearms do more damage when swinging while spears do more damage when stabbing. Also if you hadn't noticed, there are 3 attack animations that are chosen at random when you strike. 2 of those are stabs, 1 is a swing. So, if you think about that for 5 seconds, you'll realize you're twice as likely to stab. Therefore, using a spear makes you do more damage more often.
3) If you want skill lists, go to www.hidden-street.net and look at the lists there, and at the guides. None of us here (that I know of) are spearman or know much about spearman. About all we can tell you are things we've read in guides and what we've seen. If I were you, I would get mastery, final attack, and booster right away. After that it's up to you, but I'm sure any mage you're partied with would be glad for that huge armor boosting skill you can get, though hyper body may be the more in demand one (for bosses, especially), and since it works off of a percentage it will continue to get better as people level. As for the order, what I think I will/would do is max mastery right away, get booster halfway (or about 6. Only having to cast once a minute is fine) then max final attack, get your other skills and finish booster last.

People have been telling me not to put any points into final attack for an archer. Is this true? This is because of rumors of final attack not working with 3rd job skills. I hope this is just a rumor, but could anyone confirm this?

Ya I got out on my own, I just made it out of the foresty part into the Henesys Dungeon and had a Stone Golem kill me and it put me back to Henesys, but because of my little expedition from Lith Harbour to the City to Perion (Getting the Weird Medicine Quest) and then taking a wrong turn and going into the Dungeon, I had racked up about 4500 Experience, a little more than half, but then I died alot...ALOT. And now I'm at like 800 Experience YAY it takes WAY too long to level up on your own but no one good will party with me

Squeek quoted something about this a while back. It has something to do with FA taking too long and just not being worth it, especially when you use a mob attack and then FA kicks in and hits one guy again when you could have shot the entire mob a second time instead. Either look back through 80 pages and find it, or maybe Squeek will be nice and repost it.

1) FA gets you killed as an Archer. Don't do it.

2) There are a lot of Spearman builds. Too many to list. Look it up on your own. I listed sites that have this information. And we all know what happens when you try to take information from someone like me who's never played the class. Oh, and EB, there are 4 animations; 2 stab, 2 swing. There are also 4 final attacks; 2 stab, 2 swing.

3) I agree that Hyper Body owns, but all three classes have much-wanted party skills. Rage benefits everybody except for magicians. If you've seen a Raged Assassin or Bandit, you'd know for a fact that they were. It's roughly 2,000 more damage. Hyper Body is for partying with a Cleric in dangerous places, but it lets the Cleric live without Magic Guard. Of course, this is my favorite skill. But do not forget Threaten! It hits 6 enemies and lowers their Attack and Defense by TWENTY PERCENT! If you've ever been to Yeti and Pepe or Werewolves, you'd know just how awesome this skill is!

That is all. Level 75.

I wish I could level up in an hour. At my rate, it takes about a week to level.

Takes 15 hours now!

And I level pretty darn fast compared to other classes at my level.

It would be faster if we had the third job. My friend has pretty much maxed Thieves and Pickpocket, and is well on his way to getting Meso Explosion, then Assaulter. My other friend has Thrasher done and is working on Sacrifice now.

scorpio, the one thing that will make you level up faster than anything is to not think about leveling up. Do quests (don't just buy the items you need, go hunt for them), walk around helping newbs, or maybe play another game for a while if MS gets boring. Most people can't grind away at MS for long periods of time like Tosh and Squeek do. Trust me, you'll probably level a lot faster (or seem to) if you do other things. I alternate between Guild Wars and MS and it makes neither of them get old and boring like they would by themselves. That, and I focus on things other than leveling. I used to do laps around Victoria island just for the hell of it, and it made me quite a bit of money (due to not fighting anything very hard while running around) and some experience. You could do what eric did and cover your exp bar with a sticky note.

Recap: When you're not thinking about leveling up, you do it a lot more, it seems.

Ya I do laps around the island and help my friend level up, I've done as many quests as I can do right now though, which is only getting the fire wood and sticks for Black Bull's house and I got the Red Triangular Shield from that which I sold for 25,000 since I'm not a warrior. I can't even hit the Jr. Neckis yet and so I can't do the guard's quest. Also I can't make it far enough into the dungeon to get to the Zombie Shrooms to get those 20 proof of the dead things for the Arcon's Blood.

For whatever reason, quests are not designed to be completed at the level they are assigned.

It doesn't make sense.

I was SO determinded to get all those scrolls of the dead by myself. Everyone else asked YOU for help. I was like, "Hellz naw. Those Undead Mushrooms are tough, but I am GOING TO DO THIS. ME. MYSELF."
And then I died 5 time. =/
