If someone wants all the tokens PM me. There's a secret and it's pretty unfair that it exists so since it does exist and I do know about it I figure anyone that wants to know about it can as well D:

And yay to be the only one that likes the addition. Personally, I think you're all a bunch of retarded whiners. The only ones that should be removed are antis, which there arn't that many of, and I havn't even checked to see if the anti's are on the list.

Either you accept the fact that this system does not measure absolute skill or you throw it out completely. Stop cherry picking it based on your agenda.

most definitly.

right now, if it were the same, there would be like 10 people in T0 right now at the minimum.

So Reach, you're saying that if FFR had 50,000 songs of difficulty 9 or higher added tomorrow, it would be remotely reasonable to have tier reqs for every single one of them? Obviously not. You can go to the extreme both ways, ya know.

Of course there's no ABSOLUTELY PERFECT OBJECTIVE system for measuring skill, that's why we try to get the best one possible. My point is that adding a gigantic number of songs to the list only detracts from how much the system measures skill and adds nothing whatsoever to it, because I do not believe it is reasonable to expect an active player to play every new song anymore.

There is most certainly a large difference accuracy-wise between something like grandtotal-based overall rank and the tier system we have now. Your statement makes no sense at all IMO. If anything, we should make the top players list closed off to Tier 2 and better. FC'ing challenging songs isn't doing it anymore, if you do that, you're technically an amateur these days, with all of the competition here in FFR. I believe it should be Masters Only and Gurus Only songs added to this list only.

That would all be IMO of course.

If only masters songs and gurus songs were counted, Smartdude would be in like Tier Insane. That's not very accurate, unless you only think masters songs make a difference, and AAA'ing all the VC's doesn't mean anything.

You could count VC songs as well, but the FC for them wouldn't count. It's like those VD songs we have, such as Max Forever, where harder req's are worth less. I'm saying, ramp up the diffuculty, so you don't have 1,000 people in the "Top Players" list. It should be exclusive to the top 50ish.

Yea, req songs should be only harder ones since people are getting better.
If most of Tier 3-4 (or like TOP 30-60) people can AAA a song, obviously we don't need to count it.
Quite the same reason as really old benchmarks are useless for newest PCs.

That's why I didn't count low-challenging skill token songs.
but I didn't take old VD/low Challenging songs this time, since most of current players have played them.

As for anti-skill tokens, only P8107 and Judgement Days are used for the req as far as I know. and they are pretty easy to get for at least TOP players.

I was actually happy to see all that stuff on mine, since now I can at least see what those new reqs are. However, from the looks of things, it would take me forever to get all the tier points I could, even if I already had all of those songs, like at least 100 more hours of game play, and it's not even close to worth it. Anyone who still cares about the tier points system almost automatically has no life.

because ability to unlock tokens is considered to be a skill.
pointless? eh. then it's better taking it like bonus.
normal tokens and obviously anti-skill tokens are still under discussion.

I know there're some people who are capable of getting some points from some s-token songs but don't have them.

Plus, you even don't have to whore most of those songs if you have skill.
I believe TOP players can easily get those tokens, maybe except for Otaku Oni, and decent points in a couple of tries on those songs.
