Also, trill files aren't so bad, as long as they're done well. Angel Island is a song that really should be trill(ey). :3

WOW I really don't like you, trills are the only thing I'm really bad at. D: I can PA the whole song except for those trills. Good practice anyway.

I thought I made it pretty clear that this tournament was NOT going to be an AAA-fest outside of the top divisions of D5. There's going to be hard files and there's going to be patterns that you are bad at- take it as a chance to improve!

I'm bad at trills in general .. My entire score was on the trills. I AAA'd everything, including the solo.

Except for when my finger derped and i got a miss, but still. I need to improve my trilling.

D5 it's really a burst file.. if you can do the whole js in one run, then it's all about how well you can pa the bursts..

Here's my derptastic attempt at the D5 file.
I'm getting greats all over the JS parts that I usually can AAA or at least SDG on Stepmania, so I'll have to try again later.

Yes if you can PA the first JS, then the main difficulty spike is the bursts. I made sure their frame gaps were very fluid, but it's still quite fast no matter how flow-y the patterns are.
The polyrhythm ending can be tricky in places too, but at least it's easy to read because it's not too dense.
