Yeah. Like Travis said, it's a 1/1 skill. It's not like it was a normal hit and it was a miraculous one that was 1 below my HP. XD

Oh and he poisons too. So if you are poisoned and he 1/1s, there is a good chance you'll die instantly. Have to watch out for that. I died once because both the DKs were walking back from their deaths and my HB ran out. I knew I couldn't take a hit from these things that come out of the ground but I knew I could avoid them. However, I did not know he could do more than my 3285 HP another way. He did. XD It used a charm but then again that's the only way a charm will get used up. I still keep them on for 1% losses as those are around 12-15 mins of training. :/

Was this that other group you were going with for a while or is this an old "pro" group?

Also: do you know dpaura? He's on my buddy list and he asked me to sign up for a zrun he was trying to organize, and he was supposed to be getting me a link, but I have yet to get it. He's only 107 or so though, so it'd probably be lots of "lower" level people, meaning not as experienced, meaning it would make it even harder for me going for the first time.

Actually, I never planned on going anyway, but he insisted that I sign up as secondary or something. No way in hell I'm going so soon, and when I do go, I'd rather go with a group that's gone at least a few times before so I can get some guidance from returning players.

@LK: Just get a legit copy of Windows from somewhere. It's not THAT hard to find someone with a legit CD.

Everyone who plays jms, do the 1000 slime quest. The seed that I thought was useless? I clicked on it for the hell of it and it summoned a giant fruit where I was standing? I attacked it and when I killed it, it had all this....





Yeah, I got a scroll =D It only took like... an hour or two to get those 1000 slimes. Pretty cool =]

3rd job test boss? More like ****IN OWNED UP THE ASS. The guy says the quests for getting the skills and such are fun, AS WELL THEY SHOULD, since it's about all you'll be doing for half of 4th job. I'll just quote him directly:

well, you wont kill 1, you have to kill 6 :> ill upload a crappy video of it

also one of the easiest, take ~30min and you get ambush + 3Milion exp 5% right there

BTW, if it seems fun to play as a shadower, its about 10 time more fun than what you think

Also, he says that when his timing is good he barely ever gets hit, as you can somewhat see in the video. Boomerang Step is insanely good for avoiding hits if you know what you're doing, and you can see the full extent of its range in his video (I didn't realize it went quite that far o_O). Fun stuff. =)

So how do you decide who gets what drops during a zakum run? To me it would seem really unfair to use up a lot of pots and not get a reward
