Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
If I could hit all of the intro, I would be able to pass TTFAF.
PS: That Privateer chart looks awesome. I want to play it. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Wow, just wow, I looked at the leader boards for TTFAF.
And the number 1 score is Iamchris4life, with over 700K. Wow. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
TTFAF is pretty easy compared to Jordan. I'll definitely agree with that. The intro is easy. Just keep your finger on green, and slide your other three fingers up and down and keep strumming. You should do fine.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
I'm not surprised since he was first or second in the GH2 Xbox leaderboards.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Do you take pleasure in seeing me disappointed?
I went back to it after playing a few songs on Expert campaign. I still can't do it. I can't get very far on Number of the Beast either. Which is sad, because I'm 5-starring songs on Expert. Anyone want to tell me why Expert is easier than Hard? I have a theory, but I can't prove it. My theory is that I'm hearing notes in the song and playing them, but Hard removes those notes, so I'm playing nothing. Expert has those notes, so even though it's slightly harder, it's actually in-tune with the song, making it significantly easier. But it's just a theory. Anyway, I decided to try One. Passed it with 4 stars on my first try. The ending riffs made me unable to play any more for the rest of the night. I'm still sore. Edit: There's apparently a third cheat that ScoreHero found that they don't want leaked out. It's called "Easy Expert". I wonder what it does~ Last edited by Squeek; 11-8-2007 at 02:24 AM.. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
No, I didn't hope to pass by cheating. I hoped to complete the game without breaking my hand.
It is physically impossible to hit the notes in Raining Blood. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
So, considering I've never played any Guitar Hero game, and that I bought it for my Wii four days ago, I'm pretty damn proud of myself. I've five starred every medium level (even FC'd a couple) except TTFAF and can do most of the songs on hard. The only problem I have is when there is a series of quick jumps like redblue redblue redorange greenyellow. Do most of you adjust your whole hand when you need to hit orange or green? Or do you stretch your pinky for it? Also, I think squeek is right about the notes. I hear notes as well that don't appear.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Hey Squeek, I just passed Raining Blood expert without SP (because i missed them all lmfao).
Also, now I am on Devil Went Down to Georgia. My hand hurts because Lou keeps fucking sticking me with double notes during psychotic bits and that kills me half the time. I got him down into flashing red once but then he recovered. ;_; AND NO I AM NOT DOING THE CHEAP ATTACK ON THE GREEN THAT'S NOT GOING TO GIVE ME ANY SATISFACTION EDIT: WHAT IN THE NAME OF FLYING **** I HAD THREE POWERS SAVED UP AND HE POPPED DOUBLE NOTES ON ME AGAIN ASDFAMSAKGAGFGAGAGH

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
oh that reminds me I need to go back and do that without attacking on the green
rade, try getting used to keeping your index on red and sliding it to green when you need to. Eventually you just get used to having your hand wherever. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
AWWWWWWWWWWW YEAH
pandaman, if it's any help (I don't know what 5* cutoffs have been posted), I got a The Way It Ends 5* at 380,957. My closest 4* was either at just over 330k or 340k, can't remember. Oh, and I beat TDWDTG legit-style. That's really, really annoying. It's nice that you don't really have to. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Quick Questions:
I just started playing and I'm a left hander playing righty...good or bad? Should I strum with my thumb or use hold it between my thumb and index and strum in both directions. |
