your drums are bad? ive been on a hiatus for about 2 months now because mine are so god awful

i just tested it out and got 94% and a 37 note streak on my best friends girl, a song that is so incredibly easy to 100%

tried to get the free replacement but the site says i already have one ordered or something, i need to call them

Just call 'em, that means you've already RMA'd and they want to talk to you to make sure that you're not trying to get free drumsets or anything. That's what I had to do for my current set.

The weird thing about my yellow pad is that it is more reliable the faster the song is. It's not good for rolls or anything but it does better no 8th notes than quarter notes. pretty strange

All 4 of my pads have cracks in them, my yellow one has a hole in it, right in the middle rofl.

The red and green pads still work fine, but my yellow and blue miss all the time. Takes me like 5 hours to go through the song list because 75% of the hits don't work.

I wanted to say this myself, but I decided to bite my tongue because I've not put anywhere near as many hours on my own kit.

Also: my kit is still in perfect working order.

Also: I'm expecting a Ion premium kit to be arriving before much longer.

how do you guys crack the pads? I've been paranoid about cracking my pedal since I got it so I try to relax when I play and every thing's still cool. I'd have to get super pissed off to crack a drum head.

How many of you who have been killing sets have actual drumming experience, particularly instructed by someone who knows what they're doing?

Because I know others who tried drums playing with me didn't know how to hold a stick and hit down basically totally wrong, applying far too much force and "following through" in a way. I had to show them how to not push it the way they were and how to strike without forcing it. And even then they still ****ed it up. I know drumming like that would easily bust up a kit, but I really don't think I'd ever be able to, barring a wild, blind-fury rage of course.

I've only ever broken my drum pedal, and I've been playing real drums for nearly 6 years now. I have a Pearl Reference Drum kit, which I love. ^__^

I know I abuse my red pad, because my left hand stick control is ****. But my right hand is alright and I play properly, yet my yellow pad is dying. I could probably save it with a penny mod but it's not worth it at this point.

Sometimes when I get mad, I beat the **** out of my drums. Like, hard core. I'd say that's what was responsible for my first 2 kits breaking. Third kit, I let someone else play and they futzed up a pad. This kit is going along fine.

I don't play real drums, but I'm only on my second kit only due to the fact that my first one was the bad version that can't respond properly to drum rolls and such, and this is before I discovered the sock mod.

My new one is still in good shape, or I believe. I sometimes drop random red/yellow notes, but now I think it's the drums instead of me. I only broke one pedal on Blackened.
