I'd only do it for a few rolls, imagine the effort lol

like if it was happy rainbow, the parts where it's 'rolling' upwards in the song

oh btw, do we have blanket sampling masters chang permission or only for rottel-da-station?

because I'm thinking bout stepping rottel-da-star <.<

I don't think we do. Someone tried to step that a while back but I can't find it...

Also, the colors would 10000x easier to do post *.ffr conversion because the arrows are labeled by color and frame.

is it possible for the .ffr to have arbitrary colours, symbols or anything else?

You can also quadruple the BPM so that blue notes get the yellow and red beats as well as already being on the blue beat.

I guess if you absolutely have to have 32nd roll in there you can octuple the beat, though you'd more than likely do that in a bpm change.

Another thing you could do is compress in an increment of 2/3 (8ths become 12ths) and then 3/4 (not sure off of memory ?_?). This would give you a ton of colors too.

EDIT: Actually, just do 3/4s repeatedly; 2/3 gives you 12th/24th/48ths, only purple and light blue?

actually, there is a setting for my .ffr converter that will auto-make a file a blue-note file. although i've never used it.

as far as changing it manually... doing that for 1 arrow or a specific group of arrows would be a pain in the ass. doing it so that "all red arrows become green" would be easy.

Largiloquent Dithyramb - dore - one of the worst songs and song names of all time. maybe cut ending? it's longer than my schlong.
The song actually has more after it that I was thinking about stepping but I figured a dude yelling NO! over and over would get a little repetitive.

Me too. Nonexistent YNS in Elements of a Party hehe gotchya

The layering at the end of Off the Wall is a little overdone at the end because it's the climax of the song. Blame v4n he said he liked ending it that way.

The change in layering in Bus Rides with People is kommi's responsibility but I liked the change in difficulty with the change in feeling of the song, since it gets sooo much more intense.

Ok, Skeletor is repetitive but every Sharpnel song over 4 minutes isn't? I guess I can make it 2:47 but it's so lame. The song gets so intense and cutting it ruins the good progression.

Also, RAIN is not a terrible song. The jacks make sense PR-wise and are not hard to hit at all and the spins make just as much sense as a roll would since no one plays index anymore anyways. Plus, 24th 1234 rolls are so 2005. A three note roll would be so much harder to PA than the spin. So, if you want the file to be lame and conformist with ideas from years ago, whatever.

with a lot of the stuff... i rejected instead of accepting... a lot of that is because of wanting 2 new sets of eyes and 2 new opinions on them.

so, yah. welcome patashu and kommi as simfile judges for the next batch, along with jx.

Ok, so I looked over the batch notes. And all I have to say is:

You guys pretty much said everything I said AFTER I released the files (kinda rushed them out). I actually found a few misrhythms in Cutthroat and Twelve. I'll add some more notes so that it doesn't look empty in other parts.

I'm not sure if I really want to do Midnight Shooter anymore though--I can't seem to get good PR/layering on songs with well defined melodies. I need a mentor. (Patashu? )

Once I get home today, I'll make all of the necessary changes.

Erm, once I make the changes, do I just re-send the .DWI file, or the whole folder? I don't want to have to re-send the whole folder with 56k. >_>

If it's minor changes to an accepted file you just have to send the dwi.

Actually, I'll turn it down a bit, hehe. ^^;
