Re: Trickster: The game
Less than nine hours now...
Regarding the name, in some ways I agree with Fallen. Xqsite would stay true to the roots, and it was also the name of the MS FFR guild. It all really depends on the public image we want to send... do we want everybody to know we're from FFR? Simple as that. Maybe we should check with a mod/admin to make sure it's even permissable (I'd assume it is, given the situation) to represent ourselves under the FFR name... Squeek? Btw, like Scorpio said, the music is good. Still totally cutsie like MS, but orchestrated better. More (and more complex) melodic lines going on, better recording quality, etc. |

Re: Trickster: The game
The only reason the guild in MS is named xqsite is because the name had to be more than 3 characters. If there is a similar character limit in Trickster, then we should definitely keep the xqsite name. Really, xqsite.com as a name would make more sense than just xqsite, but dots prolly wouldn't be allowed. But yeah, if FFR works, than I'd say that's better.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright. And I write the blog for their website. Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O |

Re: Trickster: The game
Maybe I'll just be forced to get this game a day late. Not like the download's gonna be any less rushed tonight than it is tomorrow.
That is assuming I can't get it to download and patch successfully, which I won't even try until I'm done doing other stuff first. |

Why is the launcher saying, "Access to this server is forbidden from your client?"
EDIT: Ya, this music kicks MS's ass hardcore. Also, did anyone get the above message too?

Re: Trickster: The game
heh, I was hitting 250 kb/s on my comcast upgraded 8 mb/s dl speed connection. (My dad is a computer engineer.)
Patching is halfway done for me, I'll definitely make it on time. Purplepopcorn: Cat: 2224 2:20 LEFT ZOMG Fallen, I had the same problem with mine. The installer creates a temporary file on the C Drive NO MATTER WHAT, so if you don't have 3.8g of room you should start uninstalling a few programs. I had to move everything (really, everything) onto my F drive, save WoW, and Windows. |

My poor computer is chugging along. Also, when I saw that the game needed 3 Gigs I almost had a heart attack. I had to delete alot of Doujinshi and unistall programs I wanted to have. =(

Re: Trickster: The game
Anyway, after watching my friend play Japanese Trickster, there are some things we may or may not need to do. I also just happen to be thinking about things that could go wrong, so bear with it.
There are separate servers. I guess if this happens for us, pick the last one? I think we should all post to verify that we got the username we wanted before adding buddies. That will ensure that we don't get confused with other people. Though I don't even know the interface very well having only seen the Japanese version, so I don't even know if there is such a thing. Anyway, here's all I know about this game. Basically, you log on to the GamenGame site. This enables you to play. Then you either click the game EXE or the "Game Start" button on the page... not sure. The game is set to start windowed and can be switched in an out of without issues. And quests in this game are the primary means of leveling, so go do them. Sorry if this post is disorganized. I have a bit of a headache at the moment. |

So no double-clicky like always? Oh boy. >_>
Also, we also need to find out where to meet up in the game. I don't want to log in to the Noob Town to find Squeak out killin giant water walruses or some **** like that. O_o

Re: Trickster: The game
Alright. I think I'm patched all the way. How much longer till its supposed to be released?
Also, what would be a good build for a buffalo. I'm thinking 4123 (as seen on the frist page) but is there a better one? |
