it said shift p was the like, start playing from 1 measure before or whatever, and it almost did that but it desynced the chart and song. its very possible im just retarded

oh sm5 doesn't support .vbr mp3s that happens too. it drifts etc

use stepmania 3.9 to step & play on sm5

get the editor you like on 3.9 and then play with the updated cosmetics and features of the new sm, p much all i do now

Halogen- said that if there were multiple charts for one song that you would take the better of them. Is this true? Just wondering because there's a song in the list I've always wanted to step, but it has already been claimed.

have already addressed this but I'll say it again
if you song has a chart, and you send a chart for that song, I will compare them
if they are different enough I will use both, if they are not I will use one

HOWEVER

if you send a chart before the person who has claimed the song, I will compare and use the better one
