@korny: You generalize at least as much as I did: you know yourself, I know a couple potheads. We both have some, but limited, empiric evidence for our opinions. I cannot claim that you are wrong, but neither can you claim I am. Plus, it is only natural to reason and extrapolate/predict based of already given information; my information is the people I know who smoke pot a lot.
I'm not trying to say that everyone who smokes pot turns into a energyless, failing lazy ass. I'm merely stating that based on what I've experienced, odds simply appear higher for them to be. It's very nice that you don't fall under that category; keep it up, and stay successful.

In any case, it appears as though Zeldagurl uses the weed out of some sort of escapism, which is understandable but not very prudent.

I'm not saying weed is bad or anything, but I've noticed a majority of the pot heads I've met are not so successful. korny, I'm glad that you meet the category of people who can live normally while smoking pot. My post wasn't meant to be aggressive, but more to be taken as a suggestion whether it may not seem that way. I used to smoke pot a lot right before I made a huge turn around in my life...and it could be possible that it may help the OP as well.
And let me just say that anything can be bad for you if it can't be held responsibly. drinking, gaming, eating, etc.
