Re: Skyrim
My mage is at level 22 and I completed the main questline. Made a theif cause I found things were getting dull on my mage. Things have gotten dull on my Theif. Skyrim is dull for me now T_T

Re: Skyrim
It's not the difficulty, just can't play it for over an hour now without getting bored. It's still pretty good in short bursts though.

Re: Skyrim
Level 46 Breton, I rather enjoy summoning things to fight for me, and summoning weapons.

Re: Skyrim
Before I get it, someone who has also played the two Elder Scrolls games previous to this tell me seriously if this is an overhyped piece of shit like Oblivion or if it's actually worth buying and playing a lot like Morrowind.
Kinda still getting mixed signals which makes me worried.

I recently finished the main quest and can't really bring myself to do anything else. Same problem I had with oblivion. The ending is so epic then it just puts you back in the world like nothing happened and no one seems to realize that you just saved the world from certain destruction. Like, "hey you just saved the world... good for you... now get off my lawn!" |

Re: Skyrim
I just used that stupid Oghma Infinium glitch to get to level 81 in about 15 minutes. Blargh.

Re: Skyrim
Morrowind is the best game in the Elder Scrolls in terms of atmosphere and setting, but it is not even a competitor when it comes to gameplay. Skyrim has far more natural and enjoyable combat and magic and isn't going to make you wanna quit early on. It won't baby you too hard either. Morrowind is my favorite game of all time, but you'll enjoy all the improvements to combat they made from Morrowind to Oblivion and then to Skyrim.

Re: Skyrim
They should make a mode called Legendary Difficulty which disables fast traveling.
I bet that really enhanced the skyrim experience for you. Last edited by Izzi; 12-7-2011 at 11:11 PM.. |

Re: Skyrim
except no one is forcing you to fast travel so that is incredibly pointless... If you think fast traveling takes away from the game then don't do it... problem solved. Seriously though there are too many quests that are just "go talk to this person very far away, then come back and talk to this person." Which would be incredibly boring and time consuming without fast travel.
