Marvel vs Capcom 3 - Page 6

I got both DLC characters and trugged through mission mode with them. I find them interesting for different reasons: Shuma seems to have offensive options anywhere on the screen, and Jill seems like a pure execution-heavy mix-up/rushdown type. I won't write her off just yet, just because her combos aren't as easy to get used to as (eg.) Wolverine's.

I'm also still sort of questing for a battery character to put on point to get meter for my Hulk and Skrull. I've tried out Taskmaster for a bit and I'm quickly seeing why people like him.

Ranked record is currently something like 68w/77l, so I suppose I'm gradually closing in on the title of jaded. My xbl tag is Howd Wyde if anyone feels like helping me with the Wolverine matchup.

I have the PS3 version but no internet. My area of the panhandle doesnt have the jobs to pay all my bills as is.

I do love this game though. I'm getting -decent- with the darkstalker team (Being somewhat of a fan of those games and all....)

Yeah, I am getting kind'of bored of it too. Like everything was fine for a while because my friends were really hyped as much as I was. Now they don't play anything other than Halo Reach because they are tired of getting destroyed by everyone. It kind'of sucks and I am trying to convince them to practice a lot so we can go to an EVO qualifier in Ohio. But they still don't want to. But if anyone wants to play online with me for the Xbox. Add me rsr1264782 (<- Yeah I know, a lot of numbers)

THey just have to practice more, I got beaten by a lot of people before too, but after practicing combos and kept playing other players online to learn how to deal with situations I got so much better at the game now.

I know right? I try to convince them and they don't want to, so they rather get destroyed in Halo instead. Oh well, I did get at least one person that would like to go with me. Who knows, we might go to Las Vegas if we do well enough

But I doubt it >_>

Well I might as well join the MvC3 tournament in AN just for fun though to see how I match up with other Canadians, I'm sure if I'm lucky I'll make it past the first two rounds at least xD

I played this at my friend's house the other day. I'm a casual when it comes to fighting games, so I'm not very great. I was having fun with Wolverine-Dante-Iron Man. I like having Iron Man's UniBeam assist to help combo into hyper combos, and because liking a Dante-Iron Man hyper combo is devastating.

lol I hear you, guys. I havent played fighting games at a hardcore level since Tekken 5, honestly. I was always a bit better at 3D fighters then the VS games.

I wish we had a Virtual Fighter vs Tekken.

Yup.

Meanwhile, new patch today. It included Sentinel being nerfed as ****, which I'm actually REALLY happy about. He now has 91,000 health instead of 130,000 or something around there.

Because of that I noticed a lot less Sentinels when I played online thank god :V Also, I was on a damn roll, now my record is 12-1 in ranked matches (that time-out loss will haunt me ;_

lol, seen that spencer that was also suppose to be fixed? can still be done on Arthur xD.

At the moment, I need 6 more chars to beat arcade on very hard with. then ill online and continue my streak. WolfxLycan is my GT so add me if you up for player matches. I miss Tekken 4 and 5 and 6

Damn, just my luck. Now I'm up to 4 losses, but that's okay, because the other losses were actually losses and not a stupid time out.

The last one...damn I lost to a Cosmic Lord, 2600 wins!? And it was some jp guy too. Damn...I'm actually surprised I managed to beat his Dante though with my own aww yeah.

I'm envying your records guys. I still haven't got more than a 50% win rate yet (even though i'm close to that now). =[

Still rocking Taskmaster/Hulk/Skrull. I'm starting to kind of get places with them, which is cool. Also Ammy should look out because Skrull can punish full screen Okami Shuffles, to my obvious delight.

Really, anyone who can teleport can punish Ammy's Shuffle. When it get's to the blizzard, it only shoots in front of her, so if you can get behind her while she's doing it you're ready to punish.

Of course. There's even a video about it iirc. I think I only got excited because I managed to land his Level 3 Hyper and take a game before being sure that was even possible.
