The site I used to create these gifs went upgrade crazy and I'm no longer to make a gif that matches the same structure of the ones in this thread so the best I can do is rearrange and add explanations.
I can move hands and quads up after jump chains, but I'll just have to explain what a jump is in the explanation of jump chain. gif I made for jumps is too huge: ![]() EDIT: added gif anyway and jumpglut definition as well as moving hands and quads up.

Also mention grace notes are sometimes called "flams", stemming from the drum technique.

Tis all good, no real complaints with it. 'cept the jacks one, it kinda pauses half way through the jack.

A "left, down, up, right" sequence and vice-versa is considered a roll.

The terminology really is different from rhythm game to rhythm game. As another unrelated example, what would be considered a "trill" on FFR (alternating sequence between two notes) is actually called a "roll" in beatmania games, because it behaves in a drumroll-like sequence. Years ago, I came to FFR with that knowledge beforehand and was confused at why people were calling drumrolls "trills".

Can we get one for something for what an Anchor is? The term is catching on so we might as well do a picture for it.

Jumpgluts too.
(Jumps one after another, much like a stream with only jumps) |
