Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
Nice music with the vid Tass. You are actually faster than I am on most of the early levels, about 3 seconds up to the end of the crosses level. (Which I expected, since I messed up a bit at the start.) I gain about 2 seconds on the spike corridor level, 3.5 seconds on the the arrow gauntlet level, 1.5 seconds on the second-to-last level and 6 seconds on the last proper level. Putting our runs together, one of us could probably get 337.x on a perfect run. I shouldn't really tell you exactly how to improve while the tourney's still going on, but with any swing being minimal in this round, this quick public analysis won't matter.
Commandersa1, got your PM. (349.3, it's going on the front page with the other scores) Also, I'll accept your Polar Drift time, seeing as it's not amazingly fast. I'm being more lenient on slower times, since I really don't believe you'd cheat a time 5 seconds slower than Tass. p.s. Commandersa1's aggregate time: 587.83 seconds. Tass's aggregate time: 592.67 seconds. Two of the last three rounds are long ones, one of which is 10 mins +. Should be a good finale. Edit: I told you this was a low-variance round. Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
Ha, beat Tass by .4 seconds. Unfortunately, that will give him incentive to go faster.
Also, Fancy Pants(Can improve if needed): My Firefox is overloading on memory so the scores will not show up. I hope it saves...

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
I was right about Shift 2. Just got a 340.8 on video, with ~3-4 seconds of mistakes as well.

damn... 153 on FPA. meh. Sora's got me pretty good on most of these games. I'll work to improve SHIFT still though.

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
Sora? The only game I lost to you was the one that you actually had to think on. lol If the game deals with memory then I can do well on it.

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
Yeah, timed games don't really lend themselves to thinking. I suppose one of the later rounds requires some thought as well as skill.
Shame that things like the Impossible Quiz aren't timed, really. EDIT: Bam. Got it on video as well. I've done the cross level 1.5 seconds quicker, and there was a minor error in an early level. This is what's doable, guys. And this is so going on youtube when the tournament's done. Oh, and the bonus point is still on offer for sub-343.9, not for supping this. Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
i've gotten down to 345.x, btw. with a few small mistakes in the run still. i've gotten the cross level done in 20 as my best, although 19 is the consistent time. my biggest mistake spot is on the slow-down level, getting the key on the right that speeds the level back up. i have a very hard time consistently getting that key on the 1st jump. usually takes me multiple attempts, which costs valuable seconds. Also, the very end of the last level... getting the light in between the sets of spikes. I die there way too often for playing through 8 minutes flawlessly.

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
I still don't understand how on earth the timer works in that game.

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
If I did not mess up at the beginning of the 7th(?) level, I would have beat Fractal's time. I beat the cross level at 23(I took a screenshot for proof).
*sigh*

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
Damnit, now I have to re-do my video. That must be pretty close to optimal now.

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
It's close, but not perfect. At one point I thought I got the key, and had to turn around. I lost 1 second there. I beat the cross level at 22 when I know I can beat it at 23.

Round 5 is up. 27.7 points and 42.1 seconds separate the three players who have played every round so far.

Re: Fractal_Monkey's Time Trial Tournament
Twice this game froze on me, the sounds start looping really fast, and a message about aborting the script.
