I was going to suggest a credit system that's worth money, actually. Head over to www.livingwithstyle.com and check out how they do it- the guy who runs the site actually uses it as a sole source of income (in addition to non-pop up ads) and I guess it must be working out. Hit him up, see if he can give you any suggestions.

Things Tass Will Be Buying:

FFR Shirt (then getting it personalized to have "Tass" 'Forum Mod' on it)
FFR Hoodie... preferably not blue or black. (personalized again... maybe a 'God of TWG' on it?)
FFR Keychain. Hell, I'd buy 5.
FFR Thongs for Whorli.

No Mousepads, as I use a laptop with an optical mouse.

Also, as said... credits are FREE to produce, who not offer them for sale, even if it is a semi rip-off to the n00bs that buy them. Like 100 credits for $1. Basically 10-20 minutes of someone's time can be bought for $1.

I like the extra stuff for cash also... maybe not songs for the reasons mentioned, but definately themes, noteskins, announcer packs, speed mods, title music (if somehow someone gets tired of the opening theme), etc.

The point that it was cheap vs the time spent to earn it, relatively... although not cheap enough so that credits become completely worthless from playing.

Its not like you could reverse the order and sell your credits for $1 for 100... which is how you'd MAKE money playing.

LWS is run so much better then these forums, though. If half the members went to LWS they would get banned the day they started posting. Style Points are a great idea, and I can talk to TGO and see if he'll help out Synth in any way.

pS. I currently have 38.7 sp I've seen you posting in D&B Anti about DXM and acetaminophoben or however you spell it lol.

FFR goods like FFR T-shirts, Keyboards. Mousepads are pretty nice idea.

One idea from me.. already here though.
If you want to get more money for development, you just make credits way
more worthy, and sell credits (like 200 credits for $1) to members.

[Ingame Customisable Avaters]
Members can select Face, Hairstyle, Cloths, Shoes, Accessories, Items, Back Grounds,
Poses/Motions, etc and it costs around 100 credits each (some of them should be free).
They can select any of them that once they have bought. And this avater is available
on the Chat, Forum, Multi Player, etc.

[Purchasable Songs]
Members can buy songs for around 200-2,000 credits like as it is now.
Basically harder ones are more expensive.

[Noteskins/Mods]
Basical ones are free, and special ones cost around 50-500 credits.

[Themes]
Special themes cost around 200-2,000 credits, which are pretty cool.

[Changing Account Name]
Members can change their account name if the new name isn't already taken, for 100 credits.

I like the idea, but since many members have tens of thousands of credits, I say raise those prices dramatically.

Heck, make as many unlockable skins, songs, mods, etc. as you can; even then people who don't want to buy credits will never run out of stuff to spend their credits on, thus giving them more of a point to exist.

Tens of thousands of credits aren't too much for this system if staff continue
adding many purchasable materials to this. 8)

and yeah there should be uber expensive materials for maniacs.

Sponsor a tournament of some sort. That will get the name out and on the same side could add some cash.

There are plenty of people (myself included) with 25,000+ credits. This isn't including the few people with glitched credits who have millions or more.

Now please stop saying that you came up with the mousepad idea.

Heres some more Ideas that I came up with, or didn't find while browsing this thread. Lanyards (sp) and Playing cards. Also, I think a cash tourney would be a nice thing to have.

If FFR gets a Cash Shop before gMS I will laugh. Speaking of MS, let's steal some of their ideas:

-Pay to have your name highlighted a special color (this could apply on the forums or just in MP, or be separate purchased. It could be permanent, or could only last for a month like MS does it)
-Pay for more credits? More like, pay for credit multipliers. You pay 10 bucks and suddenly you get double credits for a month. MS does that with exp cards, and EVERYBODY buys them.
-Pay for arrow mods. Like a seizure noteskin. Yeah, that's a GREAT idea.
-Pay for special titles on the forums, kinda like the mods have. Again, it could be permanent or something you have to renew monthly, whatever.

Hooray for stuff you guys can sell without actually making it! As far as stuff you actually pay for, though, I think hoodies are a great idea. I would demand my parents' credit card numbers so I could order one. They would need to be a variety of colors, though, so probably only one design should be made at first. And coffee mugs aren't a terrible idea. Lots of sites with small little merchandise sections have coffee mugs. I dunno how good that is money-wise, so whatever.

Oh, and the CD of FFR exclusive songs. Somebody was like "it'll be ripped and spread all over!" So? Most of the stuff in FFR is spread all over the internet already anyway, so what's the big deal?

PS: All you stupid people with stupid suggestions are stupid.

I donno if the CD thing is a great idea. So long as they don't skip all over the damn place when you are trying to listen to the best songs on the CD.

Stupid FGJ! CD....

FFR E-Amuse cards. Ofcourse they will be of no use, but a very cool collectable. 5 cards to collect the series, each card 1.50 dollars.

On each card is a different picture/scene of something related to FFR, just like a normal E-Amuse card.
