Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
lololololol set snap to none and you can go as low as I believe 1/128, which feels -like- nothing. Set to half step for 32nds.

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
i know how to copy and paste, but how do i click where I want to paste it?
because it always pastes whatever i am copying on TOP of the thing i'm copying, so it just makes it doubly loud

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
You can scroll over to the next bar and it should paste there. If not, then just drag it over; when you paste, it automatically selects what you pasted so yeah, no big deal really.

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
Went and updated my demo version from 7 to 8, and after setting all my settings and adding some vst's, everything stutters (on/off/on/off... kind of like a square-shape volume automation, if you think about it)... I can't get it to go away, except if I open up Windows Media Player and play something. Then it goes away for about a minute, then comes back. Doesn't matter whether or not I'm using a vst or not, still comes back.

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
Try going to Options>Audio Settings and play around with the Buffer Length. Making it more solved it for me.

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
Tried that, but didn't do anything, turns out just resetting to default worked just fine. Now it seems to work.

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
Snap to 1/3 step inside the piano roll and zoom in all the way. Should be pretty obvious from there.

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
If you want 8th or 16th note triplets you will want to snap to half step actually. You should be able to put 8th note triplets with just line, but 16th note triplets require half step.

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
hey cool thanks
secondly FL Slayer I kinda like some of the sounds, but two problems. 1. It gets REALLY weak with high notes. 2. Whenever I play two sounds, one will basically "cancel" the other out. I don't know much of the details, but when I'm trying to do harmonies and crap, it sounds weird, and sometimes only one of the notes prevails. by the way, this is on "Mode: None" instead of the default mode (for FL Slayer). |

Re: Need help or tips with FL studio?
You can fix that by just making a single note in FL, and rendering that to a .wav file and sticking it into your packs folder.
Anyway, turns out my stuttering problem is back... you can see it like 4 posts above here. It's not my audio buffer--I can set it to 2k ms, and it will still say 'OVERLOAD' in ASIO v2 drivers, even though I've got a creative sound card. I really don't want to reset my settings every time I want to have the stuttering go away for just a little while. Anyone have any suggestions? P.S. My underruns shows at 0 or 1 whenever I look at it by hitting F10, but the ASIO settings box still says OVERLOAD. EDIT: I got it solved by setting it to SB Audigy Live! Input/Output, but I have to set it to 85ms to get it to run more Sytrus/CPU-hog type songs, and I used to have it at like 10ms on the ASIO drivers... Still want someone to try and offer an explanation to my situation.
