With the alt engine scores, does it show your previous best on that song after it's saved?

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
I have a question. If you're logged into dragonsfury correctly through i.e + using standalone, will the scores save to their site since they have rankings?
If not, that would be something cool to use. |

EDIT I should also mention that currently, clearing your engine list will erase your saved scores. I'll save them somewhere else next update, but until then don't clear your engine list if you want to keep your saved scores. Also, adding an engine you've already added to update it will now replace it and keep your scores rather than creating a duplicate entry in the list. tl;dr if you care about saved scores... Don't clear and just re-add if you need to update a changed R^3 XML (like TB's from the other day).

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
I didn't see it in the OP, so I'll post it here. The reset counter is pretty off, especially if you restart an extreme amount of times. Probably reset close to 350 times trying to do something just recently, when I finally got it, my restart counter says I only did once. Sure it makes it look a lot more awesome, but obviously it isn't true at all.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
I really didn't do any of that. Pretty much reset, pressed the quit button (quit to the results screen), and booed out a bunch. although even if I did do those things, it would still be nice to fix that whenever possible.
EDIT: There should totally be an AAAA grade in the engine that shows up if you quad a file. Not that it means anything in terms of scores, but just for if you actually manage one on an easier file. Although it isn't like AAAA's differ from AAA's score recording wise, but perhaps R^3 could tell on it's own (considering it does give you an AAAA grade if you get all amazings on the results screen).

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
EDIT: Wow, I can't read.
By the way, I support this notion, even if it's very hard to quad, heh.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
Yeah, the restart counter probably shouldn't reset whenever you enter the results screen.
As for AAAA, the issue is that the server doesn't save amazing counts at all.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
Not sure if it was the recent update, but the engine is running so much better now for me.
Thanks for all the hard work!

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
Well I figured that, which is why I was wondering if R^3 itself could update the stats if it detects you got an AAAA (since R^3 knows when you do). I don't think it would have to know the amazing counts, just when R^3 says your grade is an AAAA for a song, it could update that song grade for your engine listed song stats on that alone.

Re: Beta Engine: R^3 [Updated 5/9/13]
R^3 gets your ranks/scores from the server though, so the server would still need to be updated to regard amazings. Sure, it could just save a local list of the songs you have AAAA'd but if anything it would just frustrate players that they would disappear as soon as you switch your browser/computer/setup/etc. as they wouldn't really be persistent stats. Local alt engine scores suffer from the same problem.
I suppose one workaround would be to just store said list on the server in your savefile rather than locally, but it's probably better to modify the score database if you really want amazings to be recorded.
