Re: College/University??
Oh and as far as drug money goes, don't stain me with those words. I'll NEVER sell drugs. I don't take drugs, and I don't involve myself with drugs

Re: College/University??
be a dumb troll all you want, but I observe a lot, and I see that hardly anyone on this forum every actually goes out and does anything fun, ever.
And when you do something fun, you never share your experiences |

Re: College/University??
Again you severely misunderstand the merits of education and having a satisfying career. If you're happy doing what you're doing, then that's great. But don't act like "the true values of life" are not only local to working the streets and making money underground, and don't act like people can't experience extreme happiness from pursuing a career they find intellectually and emotionally satisfying.
As for happiness, btw, psychology should have taught you that those who have the least are NOT happiest. Those who are happiest are those who are, at the very least, able to afford their everyday expenses/finances (where base-level utility is concerned). Increasing income past this threshold has a diminishing return effect, but it's almost certainly an increasing function before that point. I'd also like for you to tell me what you think financial institutions do and who they ultimately help, and how much value is provided. Surely an astute businessman such as yourself could answer this relatively simple question? Then I'd like for you to compare that to the marijuana industry.

Re: College/University??
The marijuana industry is literally no different than real finance. It's just looked down upon because it's ILLEGAL.
In California there's a huge legal trade, and I'm going to be a very big part of it when I'm there. NYC just sucks, the party scene is pretty cool, but I'd HATE To live there. If you can enjoy then power to you man, but damn that **** is not for me |

What the hell is happening in this thread. Obviously you don't go to college or a university bender. Please vacate the thread so this can get back on topic.

Re: College/University??
Out of curiosity -- is anyone here studying AI, linguistics, or quantum physics?

Re: College/University??
I mean I can understand trying to distance marijuana from the blanket term "drug" that most people use to describe illicit drugs
but stop saying it isn't a drug

Re: College/University??
if you openly admit that Tylenol and Advil are drugs that are more dangerous that are sold by corporations.
What I sold couldn't kill anyone, and I'm still technically enrolled in school, so I have every right to be in this thread as any of you. I'm a communications major, and I study real world application of a lot of practical things. I've taken economics classes, and I ended up teaching 75% of my classmates to get them to ace everything. You guys all just gang up and frown upon me |

I wouldn't mind taking a linguistics course, but no, not currently.

Re: College/University??
I'm 25 and still have no clue exactly what I want to do lol. Right now I'm taking online courses and hope to figure it out from there. With a baby on the way it's going to be interesting but I'm up for the challenge.
@bender5 - People are ganging up and frowning upon you because you make no friggin sense dude. You're all over the place. I mean you're like oh yea I sold stuff illegally and made 700k in a year which is impossible with pot alone unless you're selling pounds of it. Then you say I'm not going to disclose what I was selling but also say I'm not a drug dealer. Then you say something about selling legally in California but when you get there. You do realize selling it on the streets in Cali isn't legal right? It's legal with prescriptions. And you can go on about how Rubix has this job that for some reason you assume isn't going to make him happy. But frankly each person is different and he seems to be quite content with his accomplishments and with what he's making he can live comfortably and take time off to do whatever else he may want to do in life. You're basically trying to tell everyone else that they wont have good lives because they don't do what you're doing. Frankly if you're just talking about sales for your lifelong career chances are you wont make it. Markets constantly drop for things. We go through rough economic times where people can't afford to spend. As a sales person you only make money on what you sell. I personally would rather be in a stable position like Rubix has so I know I have the money to provide for myself and my family then take spare time to do whatever else I want to do. But you want everyone to stop frowning upon you then stop talking to everyone as if you have life figured out and your way is the right way. You're what 19? You don't know everything dude get over it. I know I sure as hell don't know everything and I've seen/done a lot of things in my life. Anyways you say you have a right to be in this thread because you're taking classes then talk about that since this is what the thread is about. |

What I do is provide a medicine that people much like myself (I almost died in a VERY severe car accident and have permanent pains because of it) need to get by, so they don't get their bodies horribly addicted to disgusting opiates. I help people far more than you seem to get and seeing someone's smiling face when I give them the most beautiful product is more than enough to make me want to do exactly what I do.
