Crystalis - House Leaves is way too easy for the Tricky setting it is currently at. It should definitely be moved down to Standard. It is much too simple compared to other Tricky songs.

a remnant of avmisses.... crystalis and 100 bar blackout are simple songs made much harder by avmisses. although with that gone... probably a 5, although the argument could be made that it is still a 6.
the non-jack sections would make it a 5 in my book. the question becomes whether the jacks are hard enough for the average user to make it a 6.

As far as I'm concerned, 100bb jacks are piss easy now, but Crystalis' jacks are a bit fast and awkward in some spots. IMO it should be kept a low 6 or moved to a high 5. Definitely very borderline, but I'd say low 6.

Crystalis should remain a 6, while Szerencsetlen should be moved to an 11 IMO.
Even though you say Szerencsetlen is slow for a FMO, I feel the awkward and tricky patterns should move it up even further. Also the length of the song is a factor.

Given the speed of the song itself, Szerencsetlen should be a 9. The length and the patterns (which IMO aren't awkward, pretty straightforward) bump it up to the 10 it is, definitely no where near an 11.

Are you serious when you say that? This song is just like Choprite, but harder. Play both and watch your PA. The tricky patterns in Szerencsetlen make it tougher, just like Szamar Madar is a 9. The song itself should be lower, but the PA difficulty bumps it up. (I get like 3-5 goods every run on Choprite while on Szerencsetlen I get 12-13 goods)

Soul, you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to difficulties.
I got like what, 5-8 goods sightread on Szerencsetlen, Choprite is 3x harder.

I would agree with you about the PA thing on Szerencsetlen soul, but I do better with highspeed bursts as compared to rolls, so of course I'm going to do better on Choprite. Seriously though, choprite is the one with the tricky patterns, I can at least FC szerencsetlen every single time but some of the patterns in Choprite catch me way off guard.

I'm pretty sure it's a bit harder to pa szeznenzenrzer than choprite...patterns are a lot more awkward. I'm surprised that it isn't an fmo considering choprite is one.

26 bpm less... and while there are more 32nds in szer than choprite... i FC szer every time. choprite, i don't. much trickier patterns in choprite, both to PA and to combo. plus, much faster.

great, I have people who agree with me.
I consistently get 3-5 goods on Choprite as well, keep getting 9+ on Szerencsetlen. If you can FC Szerencstlen every time, I don't see why you wouldn't also be able to FC Choprite without difficulty. At first, I thought those triplet patterns were tricky, but they're pretty easy for me right now.

Wait a sec guys, I just played Eradication, HOW is it only an FMO is Reality is an FGO?
Reality is a tad faster sure, but Eradication has really fast jumpstreams, and awkward ones at that. Plus it's harder to PA by a mile because of the polyrhythm 24th/16th stuff, not to mention the completely unreadable ejaculation of color at the start. Also, it's longer. Explaination plz? EDIT- for the record it took me 2 tries to FC Reality and my PA on it is 9 to 1, I still haven't FC'd Eradication after more than a dozen tries and my PA seems to be more around 6 to 1. I know I've got strange strengths and weaknesses compared to most, but cmon

i think the difference is
a) 220bpm vs 259bpm b) the 2 sections of JS in Eradication each have 3 sections of their own, of increasing length... but even the longest isn't THAT long. whereas the final stream of Reality is pretty frickin' long. c) personally, i don't really think Reality is FGO... i find it harder to combo the 8th jumps than the stream in it. But, I can PA Eradication MUCH easier. Best PA ever on Reality is 33-1-1-1. Best PA ever on Eradication is 18-3-0-3... and Eradication is 50% longer in terms of # of notes. Then again, I'm pretty decent as JS vs stream, especially at those speeds. I think it comes down to length of hard parts more than anything. Plus, a huge difference between 220 and 260, even if one is JS and one is stream. Even with that... Eradication is pretty high in the FMO list.

Eradication was rated FGO before, but after avmiss fix we thought high FMO is more suitable. yea 16/12th parts are hard to PA, but jumpstreams aren't that hard IMO because they are short.
Reality is short, but has 259bpm long streams and 8th jacky doubles (needs speed), so it deserves FGO. ps. sry I suck at Reality, stream patterns in ERX8 v2 are a bit easier for me to PA. Last edited by jimerax; 05-20-2008 at 11:45 PM.. |
