I'll get to it eventually, if not for the next batch then over winter break. Right now, school work and college apps are killing my soul and all of my free time.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
btw, planned submission list for next batch is something like...
-Betrayal of Fate -Blue Betrayal -Bouff -some orange dust song (Cocaine Voltron? Witches Hat? I still don't think I've even listened to them all yet haha) edit: macgravel recommended cocaine voltron so ya -J'ai Envie De Plaisir X2 -Loot Rape Kill Plunder Repeat -Scorched Sands? maybe -Since 1983 uh how ever many of those I actually do anyway, note like four of those I've stepped before so they wouldn't be as painful

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
If it's by benn jordan and wasn't released through Alphabasic, we don't have permission to use it, afaik.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Err, the flashbulb.
But we do have permission for some of his other stuff under other aliases. Also, we'd better have like a little break so I can actually finish some of the 5 files I'm working on. D:

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I'm sorry I'm a little new to this whole process... I went out on a limb and submitted a file (Fantasie Impromptu) to Tass about a month ago, and he told me that I should check back here later for specific feedback. I've come to terms with the fact that my song probably didn't make the cut, but is there a better place I should go to find the specific feedback it garnered? If any of the judges played my file, I'd be interested to know what they thought.
Best of wishes to everyone who's files have made it through |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Wait untill tomorrow when tass posts the notes, you'll see the feedback the judges gave then. (look in Batch Review thread)
I'm curious to see weather the judges hated the changes I made, or my computer screwed up the whole file and just resent the same steps again :/ (I have the problem with my comp fixed now) |

AHHH
That raises my hopes about 9001%. I had forgotten the exact date I submitted, so I was understandably confused. Here's to new music! /cheer |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
notes are up. today is monday.... i'll give you guys until friday night to get your files in.
3 total submissions unless you have permission to submit more. 2 new submissions max (aka 0, 1, or 2 new submissions... rest resubmits up to 3 max). unless it is in "played by tass but not queue'd" group, in which case it does NOT count against your 3.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
hmm well i disagree completely with all of blu's points on eclipse except the two fast trills; those are like that for a reason (constant intensity snares would be rolls or trills and rolls don't fit in those measures), but i can move them around to make semi-arbitrary streams n.n
i'll ease up the couple of 4-note jacks and take out the notes between yellow jumps in the main part even though no one commented on them since i think they make it feel a bit overstepped. next batch i suppose :3 ps doisfaoieomeoaldsmks stepping fadeouts is super gay theres a perfectly good crash to end on
