I had similar problem with OHN about 3 months ago.

I had no problem getting SDG on FMO/FGO songs, yet I couldn't AAA any below 10.

Anyways, it doesn't seem likely, either way he should have been up for his insane FMO/FGO scores or moved down for his poor accuracy.

AKA stop using scores where 99% of players mash to get a good rank cause it proves nothing.

I second Blue's post here. RATO isn't a good gauge at all. My laptop keyboard, for example, can't mash well worth a damn, but my USB keyboards unleash the fury. Besides, that's a really erratic and funky song and requires a bit of a different skillset than rhythmic PA'ing (although it does help, sure, but you need to know when to pick your battles and when to mash/when to actually try to PA).

Honestly, I'd say nothing's wrong with it. There was clearly a decent bit of mashing going on there. When I look at OHN's ranks, I don't see D5 material, to be honest -- maybe D4.

yeah, because not many people can't AAA La Campanella, while MANY MANY people can AAA VC or lower songs

but i can't do that, so i just play FMO/FGO's for better rank, what's so weird about that?

if you noticed my level rank, i don't even touch difficulty 5 and below because i know I can't AAA, so i aim for good ranks on songs like La Camp, Schmollbluk, I hate the 80s, because i KNOW people can't AAA them (well, most)

if you wanted a good rank on la camp, you can go mash FC it and get rank 20 or below, be my guest

Sorry guys, but I think there's just a lot of speculative whining going on -- I think OHN's situation here is perfectly fine given the level ranks and everything else. If OHN has trouble with AAA'ing things, why are you guys worrying?

Not everyone starts FFR with lvl 1 songs and gradually increases the play level one by one.

OHN was already a decent DJMAX player, so was able to just start right off with FMOs and get good PAs, but not AAAs because he/she has never seriously taken getting near perfect accuracy into account.

I had the similar situation. For example, I FC'd BB Evolution without boos on the first day I started to play FFR.

my level rank looked similar to that of mine right now like, 6 months ago btw

no one probably remembers, but I once got rank 7 or 13 on death piano (like a year ago) and i was called bs / double setup, so my score got deleted (someone or some mods said I had too many boos, it was like 700 or 800 something on death piano)

that's where my FFR carrier kicked off, and i've had below rank 100 on most FGOs since then ><;
