Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
st scarhand was in last batch... and it was conditionally accepted... but hi19 has yet to make the tweaks requested, so it's currently in limbo.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Some files in this batch are definitely better than the ones in the last batch.
and yeah I know my judgement is inconsistent this time (also I thought I was pretty lenient), so I'm not confident about the rating of borderline files at all (if blu's rating is low don't accept). ps planet karma got 8.5, also some of Patashu files got 8. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
yeah, it's only drums, so I don't get the idea of layering, I'll just wait for the batch notes

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Whether you know it or not, I think your file had it.
Remember in the beginning the pattern right after the long trill? The pattern that goes like "jump-hand-jump-hand-jump-hand" at eighth note intervals? Well, you layered the bass drum and snare(?) Because the pattern songwise went like this: "bassdrum-bassandsnare-bassdrum-bassandsnare-bassdrum-bassandsnare" It's a little hard to explain, but since the two sounds were "on top of" each other, you stepped them both. Which is basically what layering is yeah i suck at explaining w/e

Do we have Kyrn full blanket permission? He made Wish (kyrn mix) and I am interested in stepping more of him.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
If there are more than one set of drums and they have different sounds, you can certainly still "layer" your simfile. I doubt that the song sounds that linear.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I agree. Would it be possible to have a song stepped 100% perfect notes and everything? Blue Rose would be a close example or Planet Karma but something totally unique that makes it stand out from all the other songs. A song only God would be able to synchronize.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Lmao thats what i did with Nu-Island. I basicly stepped the entire thing while listening to it on 0.3 speed. I think i might have blubbed up the final string of notes though, really looking foward to Tass posting the feedback so i can fix it up =].

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Guys, not just stavie but everyone else who has no clue;
Stop. Asking. About. Your. File. The notes will come out after this weekend, as said by Tass. Once Tass is finished judging they will be up. Stop postwhoring this thread asking after every other post if your file had the right audio to it or if it made it or if anything has to be fixed to it when the notes haven't even been posted yet. Hehe I like type-effects.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
no. go choke on a urinal cake.
also, 30 files down, 26 to go. i've been fairly lenient... letting in a lot of files with small mistakes on the condition that they're fixed up. at least 20 +s out of 30.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
hmm if kommissar's submitting nebula (SHE?) I have to submit something else by him
durn edit: and another thing if I submitted blue betrayal...would you guys prefer the whole 5:36 or a cut that starts stepping at 1:33? the reason I want to do this is to cut down on some stuff I'll just be repeating later

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
blue betrayal = full version. it would be a skill token song dealing with all the other blue songs in FFR... and almost all of them are really long. blue army, blue noah, big blue... even blue-violet, infinite blue and jelly roll blues.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
I would like to know a little more about how my file did. I already talked with blu about it and he comment was pretty funny. Mostly because I hardly remember stepping and sending the file in...
