GOD DAMN. I finally get the hard badge on Battalion Nemesis but now I can't come anywhere close to the medium (the bonus map). Anyone know a fast and effective strategy for it?

How many levels are there in Campaign mode of Battalion?

10 levels. It's easy, but the CPU takes forever in thinking.

Not to mention IE has closed on me three times now in the middle of level 6. My save point is level 5, but even if I beat 5 and save on 6, I have to do 5 again when it closes. e_e

and, jugglin... i'll make a video for the bonus map. will have to speed it up though, it takes a while. i forget the strategy i used last time, i'll probably just make it up as i go.

All I did for the Bonus Level was race to the Oil Supplies in water and ground, then built planes to destroy everything (esp. turrets). It's funny, I didn't even know how to play too; I just went straight to for the Bonus level first >_>

I tried recording a DO2 impossible guide. I got like 5 starslides the entire time I tried to record. It's disappointing. One time I was playing with Kota and I made it to Saturn and didn't see 1 starslide. I get so unlucky on that game.

Most of the Zunderfury feats are pretty self-explanatory though. It's just the "don't get hit" award that's the hardest to pull off, and it's hard to really make a guide for it. My avoidance/shooting strategy is pretty unbeatable, though, although I don't know how to word it. I'd have to just make a video of a really hard level. The key is really not to simply "run away" from anything running at you. Sometimes you have to run "past" the opponent, all the while knowing how to rotate and fire and maximize your overall distance.

The only hard part is reconciling the strategy for mass-groups of purple shielders. Those are the WORST. But I was able to make it absurdly far in the game and so I must have been doing something right.

i gave up on the bonus map. it was 30 minutes long, and there was still 15+ minutes left, i think. plus, it wasn't going well. i mean, i would have still won... it just wound have taken even longer. not sure what i did differently last time, but it still took a long time.

the key is to get rid of the opponents turrets ASAP.

The bonus map took a long time for me. I eventually got to a point where I won; I had cornered the opponent, and had one of the opponent's war factories surrounded by units. I had also destroyed the turrets, also. I got to where I had one of my commandos capture the opponent's base.

The Annihilator Tank (I believe that's what its called) can take the damage; just send a couple in to do the job.

it was posted as a thread on Kong's forums a few months back... but it's simple enough. you just had to check the image location of my sig, and replaced my username with yours.

Finally beat Achilles, and took care of the battalion nemesis hard today, leaving only one of my goals ungotten (freaking bonus map =P)

I've hardly even touched Batallion, nor do I plan on it. The game isn't worth my time IMO and I don't like games like that anyways. I'm working on the Gravitee Impossible badge right now. (Kota made me jealous) I currently have 3 platinums. I'll get the rest after I get home from school today. The guide for it seems pretty straightforward, although I have to printscreen, paste into paint, and draw a line where the arrow is for a reference point because sometimes the arrow is pointing to the middle of nowhere.

Yesterday broke my record of most friends ever online. There were 11 on at the same time, 9 in Arcane Coding. I lold.
