Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
oopc 5* knights of cydonia sightread
F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. is pretty easy, especially in comparison with a lot of other songs played up to the seventh venue just to play knights of cydonia, will play more later The Metal is extremely amazing btw edit: wtf try most of Sam's Town Last edited by dAnceguy117; 10-28-2007 at 09:43 PM.. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
being a wii owner, I finally got to own my first guitar hero, so I can't even FC any of the hard mode songs yet.
still getting better though, plus I love it with all my heart

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
rofl rofl rofl rofl pwnt.
sightread FC'd Mississippi Queen, Bulls on Parade, and When You Were Young. Also FC'd Even Flow, but that wasnt a sightread cuz i played it 546874639854635749685416974 times on the demo. and **** getting -1 on Slow Ride and Story of My Life. I should have those. I also got -3 on Talk Dirty to Me, I should have all three very very soon. Brain farted on Sunshine of your Love as well. That solo is really fun. I can get Lay Down and Hit Me With Your Best Shot as well, seeing as Ive done so on the demo. I ALMOST got The Metal as well. RYLAH is just a beast to FC tho O.o Ive played up to CLIFFS OF MOTHER****ING DOVER (read: greatest mother****in song on this game) and 5*d everything except Raining Blood, which I 4*d. I messed up major on the riff after the spider crawl tho (strummed less than required, almost failed) so im pretty sure I can 5* it. I dont understand you're guyz's problem with Before I Forget. I thought it was a blast to play. those chords are dirt easy lololol. The only really hard part was when it does the psuedo psychobilly part and it switches RB YO RB really really really quickly. there are like three near the end of it. If you need help on the psuedo psychobilly part, fret it every GY 12, every RB 13, and every YO 24. Other than that i pretty much FC'd it (a couple brain farts here and there.) So ya, I have yet to play NotB, One, and TDWDTG. I plan on failing TDWDTG a lot tho.... stupid boss battles. At least I know i can kick the crap out of Tom Morello and Slash XD BTW i have it for 360. tl;dr: This game is mother****in awesome. Last edited by _pandaman_; 10-29-2007 at 12:25 AM.. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
yea i got it today for the wii. great game. im working through the easier levels just to unlock everything first.
i played cliffs of dover on expert just because it's awesome. i fail in the opening a lot, and when i get past that i usually peter out about half way through. also, screw dragonforce. that song's 1000x harder to pass than jordan. i can barely beat it on hard. i can't get past the opening on expert. any tips on that opening because i can't seem to get my fingers to learn that ridiculous hammer-on garbage.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
This is for anyone having a pissass time beating lou (i havent tried yet but I saw my bro beat him this way):
For this method to work, you MUST receive a Whammy powerup on the very first phrase. This basically means you have to have Lou hit you with a Whammy on his first phrase or a Broken String so you are able to quickly get out of it (unlike Double, Left, Amp, you get the picture). After your first solo section in which you got your whammy powerup, Lou has an incredibly fast strumming section. People have roughly figured its faster than Trogdor. Hit him with Whammy and his life drops like a brick. You should win. If you dont get the powerup, restart. If you dont get whammy, restart. If it somehow doesnt kill him, restart. Yes, it seems really cheap. But have you tried beating him by stocking up powers? its really really ****in hard. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
Are you sure that strumming section is during the solos? I'm pretty sure it was right before the first powerups start appearing... unless there's another one.
I beat him by saving up 3 powerups, and then just hitting him one after another during the last solos. Had to beat Lou twice because I got into the "finish him" section as far into the red as possible, and I missed those fast chords. God that was a pain in the ass. I'm also pissed about how easy TTFATF is. I was expecting this to be wtf impossible but the only part I have trouble with is the very beginning keyboard section. Everything else is a very easy pass, though I can only 3 star it. |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
My only option for taking pictures is my phone. If I can find a way to upload them then I will
is TTFATF really that hard that I have to prove that I 3 starred it? |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
well, to me, ttfatf is unpassable, so proof that anyone passed it will be needed to satisfy my skepticism.

I can get an FC on the beginning of Cliffs, but when it starts branching out, I lose. It irritates me.

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
I got lucky as balls and borderline 5*'d (I'm guessing borderline, seemed like it ****ing sucked) Before I Forget sightread, same with 3's and 7's, I have problems with 3-button chords
Raining Blood is hard as balls, doubt I'll 5* it for some time, 5*'d everything else and I just stopped playing after losing to Lou twice Quote:
edit: oh, other people with gh3 for Wii, can you look at the leaderboards on it? mine might be messed up, it says it's loading and never comes up |

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
The leaderboard isn't working for me either.
Also on the wifi games, I set one up and it came up with a message of how no one there to join etc, but after that message someone comes and plays. Then I set the options to yes and then any to the rest and yet it didn't find anyone to play

Re: Guitar Hero. Awesome.
the Wii online stuff probably has kinks to work out, predictable lawls
apparently I'm rank 6 for Raining Blood and rank 2 for F.C.P.R.E.M.I.X. though, so apparently no one good got the Wii version hehe edit: rank 7 on One and rank 2 on Number of the Beast Last edited by dAnceguy117; 10-29-2007 at 06:26 PM.. |
