He suggested they lock theirs because they've had an exploit used on them before. That means somebody knows enough info to do it again, and whoever did it before might still have a vendetta against them. Also, it's not that Jason's info got leaked, it's just REALLY EASY to figure out his account name, and if you know that you could look him up here or myspace or anywhere he'd put his birthday. I mean, who would ever think you'd need to hide your birthday from people? This is just stupid. =\

Max ER then Dispel I assume, but I was wondering if I should get any SR.

This is a lesson in life that tells you that you need to be careful when bidding. Imagine what'd happen if this crap happened on Ebay.

EDIT: He mailed be immediately after winning and said he'd pay 1.61M and not 16.5M. I'm not accepting this. Negative feedback or 16M <3

Ummm.... that's kind of a dick thing to do... I doubt he will tenfold the price just to not get a bad reputation... and eBay has a bid retraction system where if you put too many zeros you can retract your bid and replace it consequence-free

Can you solo Grims yet? I doubt it. I'd go for ER until you can solo grims without HP gear.

Can't the buyer lower YOUR reputation? I mean, that makes sense to me. I would.

He's going to say it was a typo. He's not going to pay 16 million. He's going to accept whatever you want to dish out to avoid paying 16 million. Then you're going to have to re-auction it, and you might not even make 1.6 for it.

Oh, I can easily make 1.6mil on it, a friend of mine bid 2mil just the other day and I said I'd get to him.

I'll just lower his reputation anyway. Haha, it's his damn fault. I couldn't care less about the reputation on this BasilMarket account, as it has only gone through about 10 trades.

Invested in a new overall a little while ago, it'll take a while before I can afford a better sword.
