Uhhhh I've been playing ms no problems for a while now and today i logged off for maybe an hour and when i came back i opened up MS and once the gameguard thing finished it went black and the a thing popped up saing error code -2005530518..... WTF

It was working fine an hour ago. What could have happened. I uninstalled downloaded reinstalled but still doesn't work. Has anyone else ever wencountered this sort of thing? -Thanks

I don't remember noticing that code before. But the fact is that I have faced the time when MapleStory randomly closed on me, although it said it was because of an "invalid pointer". It may have been the same GameGuard error code, but mine has always worked properly after the error. In fact, it's been at least a month since I've seen the last "invalid pointer" error thing.

I never saw the code either. But what did happen once was after I put in my ID and PW, i automatcily ddced and had to restart my computer a few times, but it worked after.. awhile >.<

And with invalid pointer, I dont remember seeing that since the huge update with what the mouse looks like, the buddy and party boxes updated, all that stuff. But after all of those, its been working fine.
Did you try it once then quit? or did you do it multiple times?

Grims are slower than MDTs for me right now though, but I was doing the protect ludibrium quest thing.

We were confident.

The mines got me, 720Y and TheLostPanda. Lag + those mine things got xXSINFULLXx and 1/1 + bump on pap killed muffintop. The CB ended up quitting the room.
When TheLostPanda said he'd put on hax, he ended up not doing it and died next run rofl.

He/She never said it had anything to do with the mouse. He/She was just saying that the patch that included the mouse change fixed that invalid pointer problem for him/her.

This is a little training guide i decided to make with personal experince in oMs.
NOTE: i know anyone could of made this and there are better guides, but i have no life.:hart:
i tried to make this guide a little more detailed than others and from what i did.
Roll for stats in the beggining: 4 Luk. 4 Int. Anything on Str and Dex.( If your too lazy to roll for stats, 4 Luk. 5/6 INT. Anything on Str and Dex.)
IMPORTANT: when i started MapleStory again, a good friend let me borrow a 2 att wg. so make sure you have a 2+ att wg if your gonna use this guide!

IMPORTANT!! : this is just a hunter guide not crossbow!

Lv 1-10- Just keep training on green snails, at lv 5 or 6 go do the quests maple island has for you.

After you do all quest's possible go back to green snails.

Names of the map you should be at, Rainbow Street: Snail Hunting Ground 1 and 3

Lv 10-17- After you get off the island at lv10, you should have 2k+ meso:wad: . Go to perion, buy a metal ax, then go to Henesys. Get the Archer job from Athena... GRATZ your an archer!!. now equip your ax, head on over to Ellania's slime tree( Victoria Road: Dungeon, Southern Forest I )
and start blowing them slimes up!

Heal on the healing spot of the slime tree when you need to.( its were evryone else is standing to heal.)

lv 17-25 Now that you are lv 17, no more ax! Equip a composite bow and go to HiddenStreet pig beach. When you need to heal, just CC and you will be on a safe spot. Pig beach is good till lv 25

lv 25-30 Go to Sleepywood. On the far right of it there is a portal enter it and you should be in Ant Tunnel l. Train at the circled area

JOB ADVANCEMENT!! Congratulations! Go to Henesys, and do all that job advancement crap. Choose the hunter job and put one point into arrow bomb(for showing off + it helps alot.)

Lv 30-37Trixsters! and more Trixsters!.. Buy eos tower scrolls. (10 is good) and 200 orange potions, 500 blue potions, 15 warrior pills. Now the good thing about this place is you barely use any HP pots and the spawn is Constant.. CONSTANT+ there is no one there! 450 Hp, 42 xp. pretty good.
Go to the 73rd floor, here is where you shoud train.

go back to Ludibrium to repot/arrow's every time you have to.

Lv 37-40 Jr.kitties. I prefer Garden of Green I, because i like the drops. You can sell the solid horns to make some money.

Equipment: i had 52 att red viper, 2 att wg.
if possible, have someone spawn you at the 3 top platfroms. that way you have the flat bottom area to yourself ^O^

lv40-?? Chrono's. Dont try platoon chrono's unless you have uber stuff. They drop some nice things(tobis.. etc etc..)
if you dont like training at Chrono's, pink teddies are an option as well. Dont forget to pull of a Party quest every once a while.

Equipment: 62 att v2k, 2 att wg, warrior potion/pill

NOTE: this guide isnt finished yet.. this guide is everchanging, because i write it as i level.

-note- im kinda retired off my character right now.. soo not much updates soon >.>

Dual partied today -




It was going fine for awhile, until our main priest left and we had to regroup for a full party. I got stuck on the platform directly above the bottom, with no where else to go. I basically sat there most of the time with 2 duals spawning every 25 seconds or so, leeching about 300 exp from the others. The priest is like "stop complaining, you're the lowest level". Yea, I got news for you. I can probably kill faster than that 109 dit right above me, and you stick me in the worst place in the map where I'd be of the least use. Every one constantly had duals to kill, and I had tons of freetime to sit in my chair. This doesn't mean I wouldn't try it again, but this time just really sucked for me.

Usually Dual parties are 5 people, 1 priest 4 attackers. The 6th man would be stuck with crap spawn, and guess who that was ;-D

And for the bad part, I couldn't train for about and hour because some loser with the name Naruto024 just got him and his entire guild that was noline (about 5 kids) to defame me and they jsut followed me around everyuwhere somehow every plac e i went on every cahnnel he would end up there. Do any of you know how to prevent this. And it was all because i wouldn't change channels when i was training at "his spot"

I'm just pissed because I got the short end of the stick and it's supposed to be near grim exp.
