OMFG. I just hit Level 18 and let me tell you..........I frickin kick ass.

Stats: 5/5/79(78+1)/20

I put 3 SPs into Magic Claw and went to the Slime tree to do a little experiment. I used Energy Bolt on a slime and killed it in two hits. Then I used MC on another slime. 56 and 64 damage. It was annihilated. Moral of the story? Magic Claw officially kicks Energy Bolt's ass now.

Mmm, I've officially found my new way of levelling. Using lit as little as I can (unless I can get 6+ boars together at once) and putting a sticky note with sharpy on it over my exp bar so I can't see how much exp I'm getting. Felt like I was playing for 15 minutes and I got 10%.

BTW, where should I work my character? I have been training on horned mushrooms, but they don't give me very much experience... Also, what level should I be in order to go to Ossyria to train?

Do Party Questing, although you may not be accepted until around level 25, you will still be able to get in. This is assuming you are not a warrior, as warriors if made right, can't hit the Ligators or Slime King at that level, and no one wants a useless person, because everyone is in it for their own satisfaction.

Horned Shrooms for life.

Or Stirges if those are a better spawn for you.

But to be honest, you'll be on those until you can pull 250s with your Claw, then you go to Zombie Mushrooms for 42 EXP 1HKO. You keep doing the best 1HKO (or two if they collectively add up to the same or more EXP) until your new attack overrides Magic Claw.

Indeed, Party Questing are not suitable for warriors as they totally suck at it even if they have the level to PQ. I have a level 23 warrior with perfect stats - meaning 81/46/4/4 - and I hit ligators twice out of ever 3 times only. Dammit.

But, if you are a warrior and you have an ab-so-lute-ly fabuluous auto clicker I tell you ppl would just be swarmin to come up and party you. And then after that all you do is just stand there n leech (:

Update. I got to level 19. I'm too lazy to say anything else except that my MP Recovery is now 13, and my Magic Claw is 10, meaning I 1HKO Orange Mushes like they were snails. Any suggestions on new monsters to kill?

Chromer, Squeek's right - hit Pig Beach.

It's in the Three Way Road next to Lith Harbor. Find a bunch of yellow flowers and go through the hidden portal.

I trained here until I hit level 20, then I was too powerful to waste my time with measly pigs.

(I'm level 23 now, by the way.)

You'll like maxing Magic Claw, I'll tell you.

Once you can 1HKO Horned Mushrooms, you take those or Stirges for...ever.

But really, it's until your new magical attack (if you get one; Clerics don't really) gets to be more powerful than Claw.

It's level 38 for Clerics, 33 or so for Fire Wizards, and 34 or so for Ice Wizards.

To be honest, at Pig Beach, you're going to be taking (what you think to be) heavy hits compared to other enemies. Bring many potions.

Also, Ribbon Pigs MAY not go down in one hit. If they don't do not use Bolt. You may end up using two Bolts to do it, which costs more MP. Just tag them with another Claw and they're down.

If you pull straight 1HKOs, here's Pig Beach for ya:

Regular Pig: 15 EXP
Ribbon: 20 EXP

Once you move on in 3 levels, you get:

Horned Mushroom: 35 EXP
Green Mushroom: 26 EXP (Drops Pan Lid)
Stirges: 32 EXP (Drops many many potions [Orange and Blue])

And I say three levels because level 19 Claw is sufficient to do straight 1HKOs.

Actually, at lvl 39 I still use claw quite a lot. Saves MP like you wouldn't believe. I'll probably start using lit more once I can take on lorangs easily... or at least once lit is maxed at 41.

That's why I haven't touched claw after giving it 10 points. XD, chromer is probably going to get to 30 before I even get to 22.
