In the process of updating the scores right now, addressing these issues:

I don't have sail away unlocked.

As mentioned previously, it is a really easy unlock for D2s, and it fits nicely in the 3-song cycle the division gets. I tried having 3 types of songs in each cycle; 1 that's more for streaming/JS, one for speed/jacks, one for technical. They're not perfectly that for every division but I think it's close.

I will donate 7 quadrillion credits if we reroll until I'm not against luis or etienne thanks in advance and you're welcome

I sort of want to cry right now, because the tool I used for placement had him listed as a D1 and most of the levelranks checked out, but now it shows a pretty clear D2. I would hazard a guess that a lot of those scores were gotten in the last few weeks then. This does beg a certain question though; how long is too long to change rosters? I would absolutely HATE to be on Round 6 and have a D4 in the tournament AAA a few 70s or something, and then thank him for all his hard work as I remove him from his team. I guess I'm kind of asking what you all think about this, because it's a pretty tough call.

Well, here is the thing D_C (I know you didn't ask)
I personally would not replace him if he got those scores while he was placed or playing during this tournament. If you need help, or assistance, I can check out and see the skillboost was during the official, or just recently. It's very common for people to skill boost a lot while participating through tournaments (i.e. regular tournies, or the official) Most of the time, you can't replace someone just because they got better during the tournament they signed up for; however, I've seen someone get moved up a division after requesting for it.
Secondly, nobody is perfect, and I can tell you put a lot of hard work into making this tournament successful. Don't beat yourself up because you made a mistake. It happens bro. There is never going to be a perfect tournament.

keep him where he is, unless he consents that he wants to move up to d2. if his choice is that he wants to move up a division in order to improve, then he should. if he does not want to do that, then keep him where he was originally placed and let events unfold. either way, cant force him to move up, cuz its not like he's AAA'ing songs that are 40+. improvements happen, and he doesnt look like he's intentionally sandbagging, so leave him be.

Two sides to placement:
With regards to KLiTz, he was incredibly obviously misplaced as D1 lol
I was going to point this out, alongside several other people whose placements were pretty suspect, but then we were all specifically reassured that the format of the tournament was such that all the listed division placements were fine. So I just picked KLiTz up on my team instead of trying to improve his placement. I still think that there's several other people in D1 who can give him a run for his money, so it's not too big a deal.

On the other hand, KLiTz has been getting a lot better as a player over the past weeks, and it's rude to discount his current performance as being entirely a result of poor placement. He is really pushing himself to get better and playing a lot. I've also been really encouraging him to improve- I sent him a short essay on how to hit anchors, for example, and so I know a lot of his recent scores are also a result of him trying hard and legitimately improving rapidly.

How you deal with it is up to you, but keep in mind how incredibly disappointed you made teams in the last round with forced switches, and the fact that we're already a full round in now so any changes would only be even more unfair now.

I am a lazy bastard, so if people posting R^3 replays like the above don't mind, tell me what the raw score is so I don't have to figure it out every time, or watch the whole replay to find out :V Love you.

Watch the replay with your settings, hit the key you use to quit to score screen, then record raw score as usual.

I'll move up or bow out of the tournament altogether and you can fill my slot with an appropriate D1 player. Whatever the tournament participants feel is necessary/right. I've NEVER played in any tournaments on FFR and was unaware I wasnt D1 when I was placed otherwise I would have said something.

So if I need to bow out I will, Ill just keep mashing arrows and come back with a vengeance in the next tourney as a D2 XD. I don't want people to get heated because of my scores and them feeling its unfair and me being "that guy". Just playing the game like everyone else.

My only question is, where am I going since everyone else is full if I get moved? =(

EDIT: Im not naming names but the other guy in D1 posted a score 6 goods more than mine and no one questioned that. Also, he beat me out in R1.
