the irony is that this score beats my best fc score, so i can't even add it to my collection of mashed fcs... even though i tried for 20 mins afterwards

Man, maybe I should have put the miss count higher, haha. I initially was going to make half of the arrows + 5 (which would have been ridiculously hard, lol).

Also, I'm gonna add today's challenges and IMMEDIATELY start updating today. I'm so far behind and I know I need to catch up. I have other things to do but I've been leaving you guys hanging for so long.

...

What the fuck. Well I hope someone will be around to check these because frames are everyone's best friend.

"Booflag" woo~

"AAA" woo~

(at least one of those Lolo runs has to be good)

These might be good, was trying to hit late during the streams.

This one might be good too, and it's really fun to hit.

Halcyon, on the other hand, is just stupidly difficult... after several tries, this is probably one of my better attempts (but still nowhere near success so I give up whee)

Updating slowly but surely. I went from 10 days back to only 6 (updated up to the end of day 19), and that's the brunt of the posts considering that the challenges have hit the difficulty where people are struggling to nail all of them.

Personally, this was the hardest challenge so far.

You forgot my Blackout score on the spreadsheet. It's in a replay, not a screenshot.

Gonna attempt today's challenges in a few minutes.

Why does it seem me and smartdude are the only ones attempting this day's challenges? Granted they are insanely diffcult, but they're definitely not impossible if you study the charts (except, maybe, Halcyon; that one's just insane). I would've expected a few others to get Lolo, at least. But I digress . . .

I think I got the TMtEoB challenge, but I need a double check.

Also, I'm gonna move my other replays from my previous post to this one.

I think my Lolo replay is good. Someone double check, please.

I REALLY hope I got this one, too.

Welp, an entire day of challenges that require me to do one of the only things I have trouble doing, missing notes (and hitting all other ones even). Oh well, hopefully the challenges today are focused on some other stuff!

jgano: we are definitely the selective-missing buddies here. I actually enjoy that kind of stuff because it forces you to focus on the primal rhythm to a song, rather than all the fancy-dancy polyrhythms and other complex patterns. I feel like the primary difficulty comes from FFR's frames, and only part of it is the overall reading-and-hitting of the proper arrows.

Halcyon's midsection is ridiculous though. I know what I need to hit and when I need to hit it, but my mind wants to focus on the 24ths and 32nds as well.

I completely agree with you. I find those types of challenges easier to handle than the PA/AAA challenges because I'm focusing more on the basic rhythms, especially with the harder songs. For example, ask me to AAA a Guru song and I wouldn't even bother with it, but ask me to hit only the 4ths and 8ths, and I'd be able to get it after some practice.

The frames definitely make it a little tougher to hit the right notes. Like in the Szamar Madar challenge, I had to replay it because one run I thought was perfect actually caught a few 24th notes. The best chance is to hit the arrows late.

Halcyon by itself is tough enough for me to FC; I still haven't done it. Having to hit certain notes between very dense patterns in that song on top of hitting the rest of that jumpstream is just way too much for me to handle.

@awein: It looks good to me. I'm just looking to see which arrows pass the target, and I think you got it.

I'm relieved that we have the same miss count for the 3 challenges though. It's going to come down to frames.

Heya guys, was actually at a little get-together with Kayla's aunt and I juts got back now.

Unfortunately for you all, I didn't have time to gather the challenges together! With that being said, I'll pair up days 27 and 28 for y'all and give you until the end of day 29. Day 26 won't be due until the start of day 27, tomorrow.

Have fun trying to miss arrows!
