Personally I would reccommend orange mushrooms cuz for MapleSEA (dunno about MapleGlobal) the slime trees are always ultra packed and there are always like about 10 cases of ksing in like just one freaking hour. Orange mushrooms are rather spread out for one, the maps are pretty big (I'm talking about first left portal from kerning here) and there are always the occasional green mushroom which might drop something really really nice (like a pan lid but wishful thinking, then again mace or green matty also not bad). When you run out of mp, wage war on the tiny blue snails on the construction site. And orange mushrooms drop bronze koifs, white korean rubber shoes and DIAMOND ORES. I trained my mage from about level 10 to level 20 (level 20 onwards I did in Bubblings and octs the etc drops are always needed for nella's quest and you can sell em in bulks) and I obtained 6 diamond ores, 1 mace, 4 pairs of white korean rubber shoes and 2 bronze koifs...
Edit: Forgot to mention bronze ores, I got 50+ of them.

Yes, the popular spots are usually always crowded.
That's why you get on early in the morning. Either that, or just deal with people trying to take your spot.

As a level 15 mage, you should not only overpower most people at the slime tree(lvl 10-13, people are stupid), but you can also defame them if they defame you.

Ok, I need some help.
Just turned level 25, and I can't decide whether I should buy all level 25 stuff, or just keep the stuff I have now for a while to save money. I really want something new, but I need a second opinion. I have over 140k thanks to MM. |

I forgot what class you are, but getting new stuff will always make you better. I recommend it.
Guys, I hit level 70. I'll post screenshots and a link to my video when I'm done doing what I do. ~Squeek |

DDRUnlmtd (4:18:55 PM): So, I could either get a level 25 upper body armor, and a level 15 pants.
DDRUnlmtd (4:18:57 PM): Or... DDRUnlmtd (4:18:58 PM): Uhm. Afrobean16 (4:19:27 PM): haha DDRUnlmtd (4:19:31 PM): Yeah that adds up to more def than my kendo robe thing Afrobean16 (4:19:35 PM): just save your cash for a while Afrobean16 (4:19:45 PM): until you have enough for both DDRUnlmtd (4:19:52 PM): I hate how I look now though, and MM gave me 100k Afrobean16 (4:20:19 PM): Yea you should try being a lvl 30+ mage with a fence Like I said, if you don't have enough cash, just wait. Upgrades aren't worth the mesos they cost for a slight increase in stats. EDIT: DON'T LISTEN TO SQUEEK. Sure it does increase your stats, but is a few more stats worth blowing all your money and then some on it?

I'm a Warrior, and like I said, I really want to look different as well as have better stats. I have about 140k so affording it isn't a problem, I just have to watch how many potions I use.

I find it hilarious that you only had 140k at level 25 (and only because MM gave you tons of funds). I probably had at least 200k all by myself by that time.
And that's probably because I don't waste my money on stupid things like panlids and stupid equipment. I scrolled my level 28 robe to be better than a chaos robe in many ways, I don't pot often at all, I fight in the right spot, and I'm just awesome. If everybody played like I do, prices would be sooo much higher than they are now. Seriously, you have no idea. Speaking of playing, did I mention that my friend gave me Guild Wars? Yeah, fuck MS, I'm playing GW now. I may get on sometimes (esp if 3rd job comes out), but don't expect to see me on nearly as much. You can still ask me advice on things (like Tank did earlier). I love to help. ![]() PS: If you have Guild Wars, my character (for now) is named Senorita Fea (Miss Ugly, in Spanish, for you Español newbs). Add me to a friend's list or something. =P

IT BLOWS MY MIND. With REGULAR meso and leveling TWICE AS FAST (hence, half the money dropped!), I had enough to pay for all of my equipment at every level. I never sold an item before that to another person other than an NPC. And yet, I managed to go to El Nath, buy my snowshoes, Red Starlight, Fairy Wand, and still have leftover money to buy my friends things before heading back to Ellinia to scroll the Fairy Wand with 100%s and continue training with my new equipment. This was level 31. All of that costs about 1.5 million. If you're so poor that you can't even buy what you want at NPC price (especially with 2x meso when you had it), you're doing something wrong. And as a Warrior, you DEFINITELY want your 25 set. If you're one-handed, go with the Fusion Mace. If you're two-handed, whatever the best two-handed weapon is.... as if I know. ~Squeek PS - Still working on the video. Next post. I'm done with what I am able to do already. |

Level 16 now.
Stats: 5/5/70/19 Equipment: Black Star Hat, Sapphire Wand Skills: 12 in MP Recovery, 10 in MP Increase, 1 in MP Bolt, and 2 in Magic Claw. Okay this is seriously screwy. I can't 1HKO Slimes anymore. It now takes me 2 time to kill them! WTF! I can't even 1HKO red Snails anymore. Did something happen or is it just me? Also, I found killing Orange Mush benefit me more seeing as how 197 EXP counts as only 1% now. =/

I'd suggest getting a bit more Magic Claw before maxing out MP recov, unless you're super poor.

Yeah, but once you add stuff to it, it becomes really powerful.

So you're saying, on my next level, forget MP Recovery since I recover like 16 MP every 10 seconds, and start putting it in MP Claw?

Claw is terribly weak until it gets to level 10 or so. Then you can own Pigs and Ribbon Pigs like there's no tomorrow.
And when maxed, you can take down Horned and Green Mushrooms in one hit, though I'd recommend hunting at Stirges as their potion drop rate is incredible and they're worth a close number to the average of Horned / Green EXP. (35 + 26 / 2 = 30.5. Stirges are 32) =============================== WALL OF EQUALS SIGNS FOR IMPORTANT STUFF =============================== Here you go punks. After a few hours of training (10 -.-), I got to level 70. ![]() Upon reaching this level, I went back to El Nath to speak to the Guild member associated with the Magician Guild. ![]() She sends me out to get the Necklace of Strength from Hines in Ellinia. Off I go to talk to Hines. ![]() So, now I have to go out to the Door of Dimension in order to defeat Hines's other self. The Door of Dimension I had to go in was in the Forest of Evil II, where the Maladies live. Once you're in, you do this: http://rapidshare.de/files/5187891/Squeek.avi.html Then, if you noticed in the video, I get the Black Charm that Hines wanted as proof that I defeated his other self. So I bring that back to Hines and he trades it for the Necklace of Strength. Back to El Nath I go to talk to Robeira again. ![]() This part of the advancement is the part that is not in the game yet. The Holy Stone is past the level 50 door two rooms in. Talking to it at level 69 and talking to it at 70 after defeating your other self has the same effect: "Come back some other time". Once they allow the stone to work, we can use it to take a test of our knowledge. It takes a Dark Crystal to start the stone working. 5 questions and a short trip to El Nath later, you're in the third job. ~Squeek |

Good job, I doubt I'll ever get that far. I like how you had the music and you even typed, "Crap," to give it a cinematic flair. But now that we actually are on the subject of Job Advancements, I'm nearing Level 20 meaning its close to job choosing time. What do I need to do, what do I need to get, and what job has the best strengths and the less weaknesses?
