How did you acquire your username? - Page 5

I played this ****ty and obscure RPG called Pool of Radience: Ruins of Myth Drannor when I was like 12. One of the things that was in that game were "words of power" that opened certain doors throughout the game. One sidequest that was accessed late in the game by returning to a dungeon near the beginning required the "Splashing word", which was "Shashakiro". There were a dozen others and I'd memorized them all.

Later when I wanted to ask some questions about the game on the intarwebs I needed a screenname for their official forums and I thought it'd be cool to use one of the Words of Power. I chose Shashakiro essentially at random and the name stuck forever.

yea well i just wanted to take a random word and make it my account since it is teh internets, jelly started out 5 years ago on diablo 2. tons of different versions like justjelly and other stuff. i sticked to jellygod because it was original. at the time of making my account here i was thinking of making it justjelly though. It has a nice ring to it.

i was inspired by the band I Am Ghost but i didnt wanna use ghost so i thought of something else. i was watching this show called Phenomenon with Criss Angel and it was basically just a show trying to find the best illusionist/magician (sadly, i only watched one episode) and since phenomenal is like my favorite adjective i decided to go with that. therefore, i became i_am_phenomenon

Mine came out of nowhere really I mean Zain was then name of a character I had in D&D but then BladeMaster got thrown on to it when I used it as my old xbl account name but sence I changed that to something different I just use BladeMasterZain as internet name so if ever you see it you know who it is =^.^=

and don't bother bugging me about my lack of proper grammer I'm lazy

I guess I'll post my reason.

I was created a user name for AIM, and I wanted something different. I decided to take a religious point of view for it (I don't know why), and I picked what was the most important part of my religion (or at least for me). I took that fact that Jesus died on the cross, and looked at his blood as precious to us, as sometimes stones, like rubies, are to people, or something along those lines. So I just took a bloodied cross and made it RubiedCross, as it sounds better, haha. My thought process is really quite strange.

So I called myself the NeonKidPrincess.
[Because I had a little crown I wore with my neon outfit.]

And the name stuck.
So now I always use it.

Me and my freind Eric started playing FFR, him a day earlier :P on our old accounts Ryan2949 and Eric983. One day in our life we started calling ourselves EnR, forget why and then we decide to team up and make an account called EnR (Eric 'n Ryan) "ee en are" xD. Eric quit FFR when he got vista so EnR was pretty pointless but I stayed on it, Eric now plays FFR again even with lag etc but yea.

Btw, me(Ryan) am the one you all know and love, Eric has never posted on the forum, but he has talked to many of you in profile chat.

I stole it from someone in an MMO, except their username was kekab. In the hopes of trying to be remotely original, I replaced the a with an e and made up the pronunciation.
