I havent finished any of the assigned English books in about three years...and I am in IB English (Like AP, but international). Maybe that is why I get B's?

And I say really messed up things sometimes.

And I really enjoyed learning about the Cardivascular system in Anatomy because I learned where all the major arteries and veins (and which ones to cut). And did you know that if the Aorta is punctured and exposed, it will shoot blood up to 6 feet in the air.

So, I just lost the long entire post I put here, so here's a shortened version:

I'm going to bad student hell and as a result costing my parents many thousands of dollars each year for this school, whereas my good friend and roommate was a good student and is going here for free, getting good internehip offers, and a new car. I've never at all felt inadequate or disappointing, but kind of do now, and am ashamed to say it.

Well, it seems I've opened up (twice) to a bunch of strangers. Good thing my friends don't read the ffr forums.

i feel like im different from everyone else. im always in an over-alert state and like during class i look at everyone's faces...over...and...over while everyone else is watching the teacher or looking at their desk. and i constantly compare how i look with everyone else. im very curious about almost everything, even extreme anatomy like jewpin, and i hate dark chocolate.

@ Arch: I've been infatuated, and even in love, with girls I've known through the internet. No shame in it. You connect to people on a different level than you do in the spoken world. This is all an intellectual basis here. No one gets ahead for "looking good", no one gets ahead for being a jock, and no one gets ahead by lying about looking good or being a jock.

And there are a lot worse choises you could make of someone to be infatuated with, such as a girl that lives a totally different lifestyle than your own, or one that is currently pregnant, or one that already has a significant other. Make that two on the last part. That would sum up my own situation pretty well. I am what people call "desperate" now, although I still have yet to act on that. I hope I do.

@ Jam: It's about time you had a serious post in this thread. :P

Oh yeah, going along with the whole racist thing and something Specforces was mentioning about New York...I hate yankees. I'm not confused about this by any means. I actually have a preconceived negative image of you if you are a yankee.

Definition: yankee - yān'·kē - someone who is from or represents one of the thirteen colonies that were part of the union in the civil war.

For the record, I'm from Texas, can't see myself ever leaving (though I don't speak for anyone other than myself with these opinions), and have been to New York. I hated it and wanted to leave the entire time I was there. My ideal society is the antebellum South (read: Gone with the Wind).

People can transplant from the north and lose yankee status, so long as they embrace the South (such as my father), transplant here and remain a yankee bastard by making idiotic claims like Connecticut is better than Texas (this guy who lives on my floor. State pride is great and all, but let's be realistic), and vice versa. I'm sure there are nice yankees out there, but until I'm proven otherwise, they all suck.
