hm... the only type of fighting I do is at Amtgard with my friends... So... I grab my arm shield and two swords, bow down beofre my opponent, and get into my barbarian stance.

I've only been in two fights before and they were a while ago. I think I just insulted them alot in front of everyone or confronted them I'm sure.

It depends on the fight. You can tell that probably everyone who replied to this thread seriously has never been in a real fight. If it is an exhibition or sparring match, I go over scenarios and technique based on what I know about the guy. I don't want to go into a match with the mindset of taking him down, if I know his ground technique is better than mine.

If it is just a random fight at some party or on the street because some *** cut you off and stopped at the light, there's not much you can do to prepare. There's no winning or losing if you get into one of those situations, it's just stupid.

I try to talk it out though, like I said "Fighting is stupid". Unless it is for sport used to test your abilities you have learned through a dojo/gym

i have been in too many fights, and broke my hands too many times. dont say i have never been in a fight
