Worst Animes

I dunno... I thought Yu-Gi-Oh was okay...

It's just really, really annoying how they kept dividing the duels into like 5 or 6 episodes. The actual story plot wasn't bad, I thought, even though it was a standard "save the world" thing with some tweaks. It's just that the game gets in the way of the story :P. Although I haven't seen any of the newer episodes (for like the last 2 months) that's my opinion of the older ones.

Pokemon.... ugh. I'll agree with someone that it was way better at the beginning, but now it's incredibly repetitive. All the episodes run like this:

omg guys look new pokemon
uh-oh team rocket
let's beat team rocket
we win =D

There is almost no story development, either. I've never seen episodes that continue to build on each other, aside from having various running jokes. But yeah, I guess it's targeted for a younger audience that thrives on repetition.

And I've never seen Duel Masters, but don't want to after reading this :P

For the first two you can obviously blame 4kids for doing that, and I also hated...Reign, and DBZ...somewhat.

I know alot of people hate DBZ but I still like it seeing it was the first anime I ever watched and thats what kind of started my anime collection

I remember watching one episode with Goku training
and then another episode with Vegeta wrecking puny Earthlings
I thought they were the same people
and I thought it was magically evil

it turned out not as evil as I thought since Vegeta was not Goku (even though to the anime uninitiated they looked the same)

But I watched the 200+ episodes anyway
When I started watching Naruto my standards went way up though

same here. I stared to watch animes with dbz, but soon realized it was crap compared to the others and dropped it.

Why do they continue to make horrible animes?

Pokemon isnt a game, it's a life-style.

Also, it may not be the worst, but Escaflowne did nothing for me. It was just boring. I honestly dont see what is so magnificent about it. I also didnt care for the art style or the furries...ugh, so creepy.

I mean, it isnt terrible, it's just with all the good things I heard about it, I was a big dissappointment.

The series was OK. The movie was total crap.

I think we can all agree that Hamtaro is just utter crap. I don't really even consider it anime so much as I consider it a show designed to make little girls point and say "cuute!"

I've seen both. I saw the movie before the series though (about two years apart though). Though I havent seen the entire series. I stopped at episode 9 due to a lack of interest.

I liked Hamtaro. Yeah, it was crap...but it was cute crappy...and the opening and ending themes were rad.

YGH: First episode=says YU GI OH, grows like 5 feet, overwent fully maturing in 3 seconds and then says HEART OF THE CARDS GUIDE ME. next episode= still waiting for him to draw the card(repeat this for about 3-5 more episodes) After all of that he draws the right card and wins. Then they just repeat with new people and new stuff so on and so forth the series just fucking repeats itself.

Hamtaro is one of my favorrite anime. The show is like any other
anime for a young audiance, you guys don't like it because, you guys
obviously need to watch some more cute anime.

I heard that the Final Fantasy Unlimited anime wasn't very good. But I haven't
seen it so I wouldn't know
