fair enough, is there like an internal statistic for restarts though? for example i have a habit of just restarting a song (think of it as like failing out) to get back into it faster, but what that means is it doesn't go into my game count nor do i get any credits for the progress of that run. i'm sure other people also probably have this habit and that deflates their play count probably. well anyway you're right, if people wanna play in a tournament they should probably be active members of this community in terms of game time.

I don't want to delve too far into it and give anyone any ideas on ways to semi cheat it. Just have trust in me that it makes sense and it should overall benefit the tournament.

Nope, have plenty of beginners who meet the reqs just fine. Plus I gave adequate time for people to complete more games to meet the requirements. Most of the time those who sign up and don't meet the set req never participate to begin with. It's an official competition.
