![]() Such a shame that the Phils entire bullpen was decimated by injury.
...except the two guys having horrible years. They're healthy as ever.

![]() I want to know why the umps aren't calling the balks Betancourt commits on every pitch. Watch him. He sets his hands, then does a little footsie with his front foot before delivering. That is the definition of a balk. It should be 5-1 Phillies right now.
EDIT: SEE WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MAKES?! 5-4 PHILLES.

Bases loaded. That's why I was saying the score should have been 5-1 instead of 2-1.

Did they ever call a balk? I would have to see film. I know a lot of pitchers get away with balks. Some umpires only require a half a second pause.

![]() Yes, defiantly a balk. If his hands were still moving then it wouldn't be but if one stops the other has to stop. Both hands and feet have to be moving at the same time, and be set at the same time.

![]() It didn't matter about his hands. It mattered about his back foot.

It was actually his front foot.

If we're up by 5 runs, we don't need to do any rallying. Your starting pitching is suspect. And even if we need to rally, I'll take my chances with the best offense in the National League.

Yeah...you're right. I haven't played for nearly 4 years. I was called for balk a few times, but it was because of my hands. Never with my feet.
