I wasn't the one who mentioned USAO. In fact, I don't even know who that is, but it was from this post.

However, I did send a permission request to Izayoi Sak (now known as cametek, http://soundcloud.com/cametek), the person who made Blue planet rofl. I still haven't gotten a response and it's been more than 2 weeks.

Add Dirty Androids to the list. Got an email from him saying that giving permission for music games is difficult.

Oh.. Ghakimx.. He hasn't been on since FFR went down.. he was a really enthusiastic guy who cared a lot about permissions & stepping for FFR

I'll hit USAO up with an email again, or possibly a post to him on his voiceblog (http://www.voiceblog.jp/kimu25/).

What I'm getting here is that Dragonforce, like Sharpnel, has been stepped ad nauseam by the SM community. Thus, it's probably not worth the effort. (People would mash the 32nds in MSWGO and be able to get away with it due to framers.)

FFR has been about spreading the word of new and overlooked bands, hence all of our alt-rock widget files. If you want to go hard rock, Synth was trumpeting a few years back on the news feed about how someone got "full permission" from Disturbed. Go step that. <<

So I noticed this thread and all. I have a good friend who goes to Comiket and Reitaisai and has his own small circle for such events.

MAYBE I can get him to talk to ZUN or other popular circles once and see if he can get permission for guarantee approval or denial of use, but I have to ask him personally on how likely it could be.

EDIT: He DOES talk to ZUN very few times, but mostly for shakes and a small question or two. He's a really busy guy though x.x

If blanket permission is achievable, Ghosts and Stuff would be nice. Or Strobe.
I know those are the two that everyone likes, but I legitimately like them the most.
